I think Dazzler is on the card backs of the new figures. I wonder if she's in the works.

I hope so

If you are buying from one guy who attended the convention you should not only expect a respectable markup but you should offer it. These things are not easy for a normal guy to get as we have no inside access. Had to seriously hussle just to get an X-Force pack at cost since they sold out so early today.

Basically, it's like tipping your server because they are focused on you. You don't tip at McDonalds though which is why I will only pay so much to vendor at the Con.

100% agree. I just paid a few $ more for a figre, but it includes shipping, any taxes and the time they had to spend finding it for me. Plus instead of getting up at 6 to hit Wally world when it opens I can sleep till 830.

But I note "scalper" is someone selling something you want for more than you want to spend.

Symbiote and I ran into a scalper that said he 15 X-Force packs, which were limit 4. Pretty sure he was paying people in line a few bucks to buy them for him. They find ways even if they don't have connections.

So I got some more insight on what happened today. Sorry if this is long but I have to tell my side from today's experience. Its been a busy one since I had to get up early enough to get something from Hasbro. Got to the con at 6:30 AM. I can't confirm that they no longer held the limit but I still had to go with the limit on the shockwave hisstank. One of the reasons why they ran out of stock for ML X-Force was because the shipment trucks had a difficult time getting to the con. I can understand this since there was a VAST amount of people outside the convention center where lines for other events started to extend out into the street. Some of the panels are now in other areas like the Hilton hotel. This happened to us this morning because not all of the staff are well connected to each other. They were telling people the wrong information and I got caught up in a general line to get access to go inside. They then had to put cones on the right lane so that cars wouldn't run into any crowds (lessons learned from Monday). This caused major congestion with trucks getting in. I asked one of the hasbro employees and they said that they were still expecting shipments of ML X-Force later in the day. Greenskar decided to stay so I took off at the Con around 4 and left my ticket with him. They eventually restocked the ML X-Force later on that day since Greenskar told me it came in.

IMO, very very poor planning on the whole convention in general. One of the main problems is communication for all of the stay members that are not engaging each other with recent news, panels, locations, and such. They will direct people to wrong locations, give bad information, and that just causes uproar. I'm not trying to defend the con but just giving everyone here the perspective I had today. Indeed, SDCC seems to be getting worse and worse every year with more people attending and the focus spanning out more than just comic related stuff. Its like comic and E3, and movies and shows all in one.

I actually had a better experience at the hasbro booth today vs what happened last year. The line on the floor was better managed because they didn't overload on giving too many time slot tickets. I didn't have to wait in another 3 hour line to buy from the stand but that is just my experience today. It definitely made up for my experience on Wednesday with Peter Parker and Trainwreck. Iceman and I were shocked to see that there was no one in line and how easy it was getting in. Now some part of that could have been from Hasbro not carry anymore Bruticus, my little pony (yes my little pony was the big seller at the hasbro stand) and ML X-Force but it eventually came in. The con has indeed outgrew the venue but its really difficult to prevent scalpers from doing what they do. I hate them too like the rest of you. It is like the ultimate hunt when getting a damn exclusive from a con.
