So Hasbro said that Foom was dropped from SDCC because of the Helicarrier to celebrate Avengers.....
So who wants to bet Foom will be the Exclusive at NYCC

oh man, last year i'd read of people getting just 1 which usually took a bit longer to process or losing both. like getting 2 put you at the back of the line or something.

Had some goodluck this morning. Picked up the XF, M.O.E., and Red Jinx. I work.nights so i stayed up waaaaaay past my bedtime. I know the last time I refreshed my phone was at 9:06 and I knocked out! The wife woke me up at 9:09 (I think) to tell me they were up. Glad she was still home. My transaction took like 3 minutes.

Okay fellow Arkers, took me a few days to make it through 20+ pages of thread, but I'm on top now. Sorry if I respond to old stuff, just skim for your name or the interesting parts.

Anyways, this just got me thinking, with some sites offering to shrink scale awesome head sculpts of 6" into 3.75", how come Hasbro wont do this? The technology/technique is available why not use it or go this route. I think this will be more cost effective on Hasbro's part just to shrink scale instead of making new molds, at least the face sculpt as I see Legends has better face sculpt than MU.

Couldn't find it. Was it MOC? Incidentally, I talked to Hasbro specifically about this, and they had me give them a written list of figures which we've seen that have never seen full-scale production. They said they'd be great figures for future revision cases. White tee Cage, Blonde Widow, and Short-haired Widow were on the list. I agree he looks great, but I don't get why they're not putting him in the Spidey 2-Pack! Why use the shitty older mold when the new one is out at the same time? (Probably just to be able to produce them at the same time). Quote:

Some of us noticed an AWESOME change to Snowbird that I'll have to post pics of later (they're on my phone so someone remind me!). Quote:

Alright arkers. Its been a long week but it was great to finally meet some arkers this past weekend (Peter Parker, Trainwreck, Iceman, Martian410, and Solidwii). Glad that Greenskar and I were able to hang out with these guys.
A few pages back I posted pics of the SDCC Helicarrier. Its starting to grow on me. Well I finally had time to take some close up pics and do a review of it, narrated by Deadpool. (Caution, picture heavy post) Of course it was FANTASTIC getting to meet all of you guys out there. You other Arkers need to start making plans so we can ALL meet up next year! Quote:

Comic packs: (Ordered based on when they came up on eBay)
Team Packs:
SDCC Diorama Possibilities:
Gigantic Battles:
Toy Fair Ungrouped Prototypes:
In the SDCC Diorama Possibilities, were they two different Destros? They were wearing different suits! "Gigantic Battles Ultimo" is actually meant to be a giant one-time custom Doombot. Multiple sources confirmed it's not meant to be a release in the future. Quote:
I've heard rumors of that... Quote:

I don't think they'd do a Phoenix 5 variant case, as they'd have to re-tool the figures to put the specialized armor on them, but I'd be happy if they did it! Quote:

Nice find on the Widow! I poked around your Targets before I left and cleaned out the Skrulls. ![]() Quote:
I found the answer to that weird case over on Marvelous News, it was a special case created and put together by the local toy shops in the Phillipines. They have a completely different collecting retail structure out there, so it got weird. Quote:

I was the first person in line for questions at the panel, and the question I asked was how do they choose which figures get put into the rev cases. The BS answer we started to get was, "We look at which characters sold well and which ones are still hanging on pegs, but there's no one way it gets decided." Then they finished with the REAL answer, "It's random." I was horrified. Included examples like solid Vision and Blade which are worth too much on eBay because they were hard to find. Jesse Falcon's final insult as I was leaving was, "Just open your wallet and buy those on eBay!" What an asshole. I swear every answer he gave was just to shut people down, while Dwight Stall was at least pretending to give a crap about what our concerns are and what we care about. Quote:

That's nothing! I heard one guy tell me it cost him $90 to ship from the con floor, and another say it was $80 in his hotel lobby! Quote:

![]() And here's me last year: ![]() Can you tell I love the 60's X-Men characters? Congrats dude! Quote:

I ran into another group of collectors in line for the Hasbro panel who said that between the 4 of them in their hotel room, they had SIX Helicarriers in their hotel room. They said to look for pictures of a helicarrier pyramid online later. The crazy thing was that 4 of them were owned by ONE DUDE! He was going to open one as-is, leave one MIB, and then take the last two and combine them into a mega-super-helicarrer! Quote:
