I don't recall seeing this mentioned...but has anyone else seen a price increase on these?

Three different targets in my area, one had them for 22.99, another had them for 25.ican'tremember, and then this one:

Smalljoes have the kang wave up for preorder only 5 dollars cheaper than bbts but still cheaper

I don't pop into this thread much at all so if it has been stated allow me to vanish back into the ether, but:

I picked up a TRU Marvel Sentinel figure for $29.99 at Marshall's just a few minutes ago. If they start showing up 1-per-store it should be a good way to stock up for any of you army builders out there.

Speaking of scalpers, I took an early lunch break and made a run to tru since they open at 10. I got there at 10:30 and found a couple of she hulk and magneto comic packs. No future foundation or spidey/rhino packs. I only grabbed two she hulk packs and left the rest. 5 minutes later I see this guy with ALL of the new comic packs in hand. I went back to the pegs and he took all of them. He saw me and asked if I was looking for the future foundation pack. I told him no since I was able to pick it up last week. He then said that he had a whole trunk full of them. I was pissed off and wanted to smack that fool in the face. I didn't bother asking him how much he was charging because he was just walking up and down the aisles pulling all of the new and rare figures left and right. He then handed them to his girlfriend who was by now holding a stack of stuff from her waist to her neck. He even nabbed this grey hulk figure I was contemplating on getting but I put it down. Maybe he was a collector but he didn't even know about the 6 pack x factor set when I asked him if he has seen it. Nothing worse than catching a scalper in the act and I felt like I didn't want to contribute to his cause.

I heckle them, remind them that some kid out there (small or large) wants that toy and to deny them the ability to purchase it at the retail rate and forcing them to go to a scalper like them is terrible. There is a special level of hell reserved for scalpers like that. Its the same level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

that is actually the original price BBTS had before they jumped it up 5 bucks. I was able to get it preordered on BBTS for the smalljoes price, but I may just cancel that and get the 12 pack.

Skylanders

Because I fucking hate Skylanders and would capitalize on kids wanting it. It propogates whats wrong with the toy industry right now. Kids want videogame interaction with their toys and hate using their imagination with things like Marvel Universe, or GIJoe so companies have to cater to kids with gameplay stuff like its magic the gathering.

Example, the Spiderman line(Before Amazing) had those inferred card games thing, Super Hero Showdown had those rocketlauncher and game stands, Star Wars none Vintage stuff has those dice and such.

Kids need to use their fucking Imagination and turn off the Xbox for a while. When I was a kid, I had Super Nintendo, and that did not stop me from turning my GIJoes into Megaman characters and playing with them outside in my Treefort with my Best Friend from around the Block!

I am thinking about doing the same, 80 bucks for 5 figs??? Since when are they selling for around 16 each. This price increase is extreme and it would be better to get the 12 pack and trade the extras for one's that I am missing.

About stupid extra stuff. The SW figures come with Dice and a card with numeric values based on skills. There's rules. I think it's great I save all my cards and stuff and give them to my wifes kids. They really enjoyed it. Although, I have some reservations about having jar jar binks beating jango fett at anything.
