x23 is too cool. after playing with her for a little, i really cant wait to see the other female molds. my only problem is the way her hip joint is formed, it prevents her from getting any lower without the leg popping off. I tried to pose her in a MvC3 type of stance. Dont get me wrong I love the figure and its a step in the right direction.

i cut the entire peg off the nightcrawler feet in a crescent like shape and dremeled an inverted muchroom shape the size of the donor peg. the donor peg coming from the feet of punisher from the target 2 pack and whittled it down to basically a stump with a swivel peg. hollowed out the lower leg and glued the stump in and popped the foot onto the peg. somewhat hard to explain which is why i drew it out for reference:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/NCankles.jpg it's not quite elegant looking and one could sand down and paint the areas so they match better. i tend to just update the older figures with swivel thighs, swivel hinge necks, and rocker style ankles \m/ |

Wolvie. Silver and black Warpath silver and black Deadpool Red and black Arcangel silver and black X-23 silver and black.... So really there is only 2 members of uncanny that we have gotten so far.... Can't wait till psylocke comes out so I can add her to both....And knowing hasbro they will do a variant or a running change with her uncanny costume....(fingers crossed) Last edited by Ronin Assassin; 09-18-2011 at 08:31 PM.. |

Yea she is one badass fig....I put her with x-force though..The silver and black costumes...She's not in uncanny X-force,neither is Warpath....If they were smart they would have repainted arcangel and put it in this pack....

X-23 seems to be the only original modern X-Force figure who has accurately sculpted gauntlet/gloves/braces/boots.
If recall correctly, Mike Choi seemed to be the only artist who drew the most detail on the X-Force uniforms compared to Clayton Crain and others. The suits looked slightly more like armor (i.e. shoulder pads, knuckle padding, etc.) whenever Choi drew 'em. |

(better pictures pending) ![]() I gotta take pics of the flying version! I was waiting on a clear ML flying base to put it on and now I have two! ![]() the hardest part was stripping off all that crappy brown "weathering" it comes coated in -which was applied sloppily with a brush by a nearly blind, bored amputee. Thanks- the Eddoskeletons all have extra Hammer DRone heads (with red glowy eye piece added for effect like these two) and are also painted metallic green to match the IM2 drones.
But the Endos have Gundam additions. and four arms. And guns. And the arms fold backward for a 360 field of fire. And they dance! *maybe not really. |

Sick Hydra robots Jason. What are they all standing on? Post more pics when you can as I'd like to see some closeup shots to see exactly what you did.
Sabretooth and Constructor about to vandalize that trailer Optimus?

Dude, I've got that photo blown up to 1:1 scale. Holding up the MM head next to it. Exactly the same. The raised 'frame' in on Tony as well. The nose is the same, cheekbones are the same, even the ears under the hood. Just a different paint app.
Face it, Hasbro cheaped. I read that quote about the MM head and I as soon as I did it was obvious. Cup of head guy, it's the exact SAME HEAD! And this makes me think of another thing that bothers me. So many people on here and who do reviews are always getting the body sculpts wrong in their descriptions. Pay more attention. Especially if you're doing a review. |

I get what your saying about the IM Tony Stark head, but here's something else to think about: it wasn't obvious for most people. In fact, Hasbro DID get away with it for a while even though we had pictures. Not EVERY repaint is a bad one - if it is done creatively. Hasbro for the last two years has reused Joe torsos like crazy, but done so with creative uses of web gear and paint that it wasn't obvious. Sure, they are going to cut corners when they can - ie, most of the "big guy" torsos, female bodies, etc. - but they usually do it well. Yeah, I'm frustrated with how many of the MU figures have painted features instead of molded - and some of them are downright dreadful - but it IS enabling Hasbro to produce a wise variety of figures and occasionally some spectacular ones that are unique molds that they may not get much future use out of. As a whole, its a great line that ties in with the movies pretty well (Thor, I'm looking at you!). Sure, you can complain about a sneaky use of an old head, but if you didn't know it, would you like the figure? It was a pass for me, as I have enough IM figures, but If this is something you wanted, I wouldn't hold this against Hasbro.

My issue with x-force arch is he's comic con, so I keep all those in package just because. But the x-force setup needs him! So I put them all around his package.. and it's lame. Anyone want to just toss me an opened x-force arch to borrow for a few years? :P
P.S. Now give us Fantomex! |

I know. I guess the lack of Marvel product out there has me turning to DC and scales out side of 1:18.
