Idk if this is useful to anyone but I figured I'd post it just in case...

So after picking up the MOE 3-pack off HTS just for the hell of it...I was pleasently surprised at how much I enjoy the 3 figures (Zemo in particular).

What I did NOT enjoy though was Zemo's curiously free floating sock/mask/neck piece which slid up to his chin every time I tried to do anything with him.
So today I swung by Wal-mart and snagged these little acid-free "sticky dots" from the craft aisle and put one on his chest and one right between the shoulder blades, pressed both sides firmly and Voila!, Zemo is fixed! ;D

And from what I can tell the dots come right off if need be and shouldn't permanently mark or mar the figure in any way, so don't worry about that.

Either way, I just figured I'd post this tip for anyone who is interested.

I GOT IT AT ROSS! I GOT IT AT ROSS!

Someone deserves to wake up screaming from a dream involving Bea Arthur and baby oil for putting that in my head.

Right there you are paying for convenience and I get that. I don't mind paying the extra couple bucks for movie tickets in the theater where they have assigned seats because then I don't have to worry about showing up early. The difference is that if the movie is old and I know for sure that theater will be next to empty then it doesn't make sense and I'll just wait till I get to the theater. It's all about the situation and how likely it is to get a better price later.

@ Mastersteef: I was kinda hoping the Miles Spiderman was gonna look like the Spidey in your sig. Disappointed that's not it. No webbing on the costume to visually clutter it up. Clean and striking, minus the fact he's shooting some guy in the head.

I totally agree. The convenience of ebay and other things like that are fantastic. I just got my Avengers nick fury today from china. I paid 14 loose with no accessories. I'm totally cool with that. I know he'll be around eventually, but I didn't want to wait. I really liked him. Same with my mandarin. I paid 30 on ebay for the green version when I kid you not, 3 days later I saw the mandarin CP at TRU. But I did not want the red version. So i happily paid 30

Fury came in. I obviously got him hooked up with the RPG. I Gave him a pistol for the side holster and I thought a sub machine gun would be cool to throw in there as well. He's armed. I really like the re use of the winter soldier mold. My IM2 version is up for grabs if anybody wants him.

It's the mark 5 stealth armor, it's a repaint of the mark 5 suitcase armor, available in the IM2 toy line, gotta watch the paint apps though, can get pretty sloppy

I haven't seen the red one but I paid around the same amount for my green one awhile back. Solid figure that seems to hold its value so far. I didn't regret buying him for that price since he's a great figure. I added other star wars accessories to him too.

I've never negotiated outside a flea market, so I might not be giving any good advice.
I like the ML Apocalypse. My only complaint is the noodle legs he's got. My advice is to make sure the legs aren't loose or else he'll take out your collection or get some quake hold. I got him right when they announced Archangel. I think I got him for about $50 around the time AA was released but he's not all dark black though. I still need the left leg. Squirtlesquad has some good advice for negotiating the price.

He's a pic of him in one of the dio's I did

^ Those Apocalypse pics are awesome! Is that how big he is supposed to be? I think in the Wolverine and the X-men cartoon Mr. Sinister made Archangel... since I don't have Apocalypse and got Mr. Sinister from the Gambit CP, I'm gonna go with that version of the story instead. LOL.

You sold me on it. I've officially given up trying to find it in the US. Especially now that Walmart has clearanced those out...

IIRC, it was always a mix of both. Though I think the comics leaned more on Apocalypse. It's hard to remember for certain with how long ago the Morlock Massacre was. I think that's what keyed it off iirc.

The 90s tas it was Sinister who created Archangel for apocalypse, and iirc that's part of where WatX was going to head too eventually.

It was Apocalypse who transformed Angel into Death. After his wings were damaged during the Morlock massacre they had to be amputated.

Then he was kidnaped by Apocalypse just before the jet he was in blew up. While the X-Men/X-Factor believed Angel to be dead he was in fact held captive by Apocalypse and convinced into becoming Death the Archangel. Apocalypse then transformed him and brainwashed him. This is why Angel hates Apocalypse so much. For deceiving and brainwashing him. And then turning him against his friends. Archangel is a bad-ass!

Ah okay. Then it was Sinister that used his Marauders or whatever they were called that caused the mutant massacre? I vaguely remember that part because of Gambit being involved.
