Patience is just the major kick in the nuts. We've been waiting and waiting, and soon enough, I wouldn't doubt it if Hasbro puts out filler waves containing past figures. I'm really hoping this happens, then we'll see prices on eBay go down and a much bigger collection.

You've been at this a while and it at some point made you happy. I think you should step back and try to remember waht it is about collecting that makes you happy. If you're not happy, don't do it man. Happiness is the truth in life. When we're happy we enjoy, we help others more often and easier, and it heals. If you get out, you may regret it. Hasbro won't care, someone else will pick it up. Do what you like! If I were you, I'd go and think about this while posing your figs/staring at your figs. You'll figure it out.

I know they're coming, they'll be everywhere soon enough. As much as I love these, the line will end at some point and I'll be glad I collected. Lack of availability is irritating but never quit because of that. Just my thoughts.

What helps me is to flat out stop hunting. Just don't do it. Check out toy stores only when you're in town running an errand or on your way home from work. Yeah, it means you get to miss out on some stuff, but its great on the wallet and you don't waste time and gas on a disappointment.

I'm not much into hunting anymore like I used to be but I'll go maybe one day on my days off to a few stores. Every once in a while come back with something good. Where you're at right now I say stay in it.

I love that fact that Beta Ray Bill gets you stoked. I don't care about that figure, maybe I'll see him and fall in love, but we all have those "underground" characters we want to see. Union Jack and Capt. Britain for me (I live in Seattle).

I think we'll see Ares announced at NYCC. It seems that everyone wants him and he's got a great design. Maybe Hasbro will be jerks and that will be next year's SDCC exclusive.

Good advice Nick, I think I am just bringing home work, and went out hoping a little plastic crack fix may raise the old spirits, and came home empty handed! I hope BRB will get me going again...

You guys are right about the "hunting part"...I used to live in IN where I found stuff pretty easily at the few local places, now I am in VA, and it seems if youre not first you are last...
