I'm pumped for that 2-pack Hulk. Looks like I'm spending the weekend returning some sealed Hulks back to Walmart!

I'm not trying to tell people how to spend their hard earned cash. I'm just trying to find the logic? If you just have to have it now and can afford prices that high, like I said, more power to you.

But for me I have to budget, as do many collectors. So I pre-order or wait to see what happens at retail. If worse comes to worse I'll pay what I have to, but most likely I'll find deals that are more affordable than $25 a figure. It's not like my collection has suffered from waiting. I have almost every figure released. The only one I don't have that is rare is Blade. Other than that I have all the exclusives and most all the rare figures out there. So unless it's a mater of not being able to wait, I see no point in allowing scalpers to rape me.

I wish. Though one of Mr. Curto's pre-SDCC cryptic clues have me believing she maybe in the works, but no actual news yet.

You would think a simple repaint and hasbro would be all over it

I just can't believe how much you guys drop on these things. Well more power to you.

Yes part of the reason is I couldn't wait, but most of it is time and money.....I have spent so much time in the car in the last year going on hunts and turning up empty..and wasting countless money in gas..it gets old....I could be spending that time and money on my 5 kids......So I'm to the point were I just order online...I have way more time with my family, and less stress....I swear I spent 100 dollars in gas just looking for the Avengers 6in Hulk....

Now I totally agree with you about putting money in scalpers pockets, and I hardly ever resort to ebay....But I did for this....I have a pretty big weekly budget for toys and comics, and with that long ass dry spell we had with MU..G.I.Joe getting pushed back.I just thought what the hell...

I also drive a Suburban so this is one of the biggest reason how I justify 25$ a fig..,and buying cases from BBTS doesn't secure Variants.....

Almost every Variant I've bought has been from ebay just cause I never see them in stores,...So I had to resort to crazy ebay prices..,and I have them all..So like I said ,the variant issue, and gas, plus less time at home its just easier for me....To each is own.....Just like I don't understand MOC collectors.....its a mystery like women..lol...

Yup, I think we all get caught in that trap of getting figures early. I've learned to let it ride. Plus, everybody is a lot more active here as we try to help each other out. I just hate putting money into scalper's hands. Everybody had got their limits. To each their own.

I totally understand where your coming from too walkingdeadpool. I hate driving around and coming back empty handed. I actually enjoy buying the preorders online and so forth. Plus it's exciting to come home with a present to open. There are those rate times when I'll even get stuff on ebay but most of the time I'll look here first.

I've noticed that she-hulk's arms are pretty touchy. On mine, the front part of her elbow is thin and starting to warp.

If you don't want it, I'll take it, lol. Is the peg stuck in there?

Also, does anybody have this figure in their bst? Loose is preferred and I don't need the shield.

I know, right. I was surprised she wasn't in those re-paint waves when they were first announced. Seems more obvious to have three the forms of the Phoenix than of the Absorbing Man.

Almost every Varant I've bought has been from ebay just cause I never see them in stores,...So I had to resort to crazy ebay prices..,and I have them all..So like I said ,the variant issue, and gas, plus less time at home its just easier for me....To each is own.....Just like I don't understand MOC collectors.....its a mystery like women..lol...

Good answers. I pre-order mostly these days, so it's easy to forget how disappointing, time-consuming and wasteful it can be hunting. This is how I justify the cost of pre-orders. I just get sick of spending so much money. I've learned to hold off and utilize resources like the Ark, HTS, or chance encounters at retail while I'm shopping for other things. I'm still on the ropes about the next two waves and wether or not I'm going to pre-order the waves or just cherry pick. I know Scarlet Witch will be a very hard and expensive figure to find at a reasonable price. It's likely she will cost more than half the cost of pre-ordering the entire wave.

I too can't keep from freeing my MU from their plastic prisons. I just don't have the self-control some others seem to have.

Thats the one figure I've been looking for when I go to Marshall's/Ross and I never see. All I want is the shield. If I see it, he's yours minus the shield
