lol I do the same exact thing. If I can get rid of the packaging and put it on a shelf somewhere, I have so much of it you can't tell if anything is new. My girl is starting to recognize characters now so it can be tricky. lol

My issue isn't married life, it's the kid on the way. Whereas I have been getting every single MU figure, exclusive and all, for the past couple years, now I have to pick out the ones I really like only. Wife is ok with it because we have the money as long as I also don't buy a new guitar or something crazy the same month I get a new case and some packs! She doesn't collect anything and isn't much of a material girl like some are, so it actually balances out. I'm just the material girl I guess. ><

My girl friend is actually cool with me collecting as long as I stick to only 2 toy lines lol mu n dcuc but I tend to buy other stuff n Jus tell her there dc characters lol like I just got the two 8 inch thundercats lion o n tygra n I told her there new dc figures lol but she Wikipedia them n I was busted

Haha.. I'd have laughed harder if instead of having to wikipedia them, that after your entire explanation of them she just went.. "Cool.. Thundercats Hooo!" That'd have been priceless.

my problem is my wife collects as well, so when i go to move or set up a display and start grabbing all the characters i need for it i'll get "HEY! THATS MY GUY!"
of coarse it is never "her guy" because after all these years i have learned to carefully separate my stuff from hers to help avoid issue....but that never seems to stop her from trying to guilt away portions of my collection for her own

god forbid she is with me when i go out looking for something and there is only one left of something we both want/need on the shelf....

Yes, she does. I showed her all the numbers involved. It's more frugal to do the case assortment, because with the cost of time and gas, the average cost of every figure I find hunting soars to about $25 apiece.

My ex wife hated my collecting.....But she couldn't say shit cus out of the 11 years we were togather she only worked about 3 of them....

My wife now is fuckin awesome....I got her into reading comics,anime,and she actually tells me to buy stuff...We will be at a store,and I will look at all the things in he cart thinking I bought o much....And she will be like don't put that back....Lol...just the other day,she was in the toy room and said I need more skrulls and sentinals....Lol..I have 10 skrulls right now,and 2 Retail sentinals,and I baf.....wtf....I love my wife.....:-)
