Hello guys,

Got a tip in the 'Wanted' section in my thread by omega145. I'm looking desperately for a X-23 at cost+shipping (prefer loose with cardbacking). Hope someone can help a Canadian!

As a Canadian I feel your pain. But even if you don't get one now, you will see her on the pegs in Vancouver before Christmas. Duncan just got the Skaar wave, which is impressive for Duncan haha.

Vancouver is the worst place for MU. No TRUs even carry MU anymore, other retailers are sooo behind in the waves and never buy new shipments. Wal-Mart doesn't stock enough either. Stuff gets bought up really fast even if we do get it, the collectors here are pretty crazy and check every store all the time. I'm really selective with MU so it would be less painful to get a middleman for one.

Oh jeez...just to think I was thinking, with it being Vancouver and all, that there would be oodles of MU there. Not sure if I want to go over there any more in November lol.

I've been in Van all my life, I like how 'chill' it is but I guess some would call it boring. People just live their lives and do their thing!

London Drugs has been the only place I've seen decent stuff honestly. I bought my Bleeding Edge IM (kind of a meh figure though) there, I've never seen it in other stores except one WM. I never found a 4" Rhino until I went to LD either, he's still pretty rare around here but I've seen one at TRU that sold out within a day...which pretty much shows that the 'good' toys get snatched up quick.

In terms of finding toys...yep not much point as the good stuff never really exists, or get snatched up too fast by scalpers and collectors.

This is really really sad to admit.. but does anyone else ever dream about collecting?
I do it more often than I care to admit. It's not like I choose to!

But I am ALWAYS finding a jackpot in a store and there is also ALWAYS some crazy awesome variant/rare never before seen pack of something too. Then I wake up and whine that it was a dream.

But last nights wasn't that great, is it a sign of things to come!?.. my exclusive find was an 8 pack of spiderman.. all different paints. Battle damaged suit was the coolest one though. I may be an MU prophet. I may also be a sad deranged man.

Yeah, I get these random dreams about finding stuff I've been hunting for - then I wake up and get pretty pissed. I dunno if that's just sad or....something else?

Anyway, I just decided to visit my local Walmart on a whim and found nothing of course. I then sat in the parking lot deciding whether I should go to my nearest Target or not. I finally decided to drop by and lo and behold, I see Marvel Universe X-23 sitting there on the peg like it was just waiting for me! Even went so far as to cross my fingers and whatever before waltzing into the aisle. Funny thing is she was the ONLY one there from Wave 15/2011 Series 3, but I didn't care. She was the only one I really wanted from this wave. Rogers and Darkhawk are next, but I'll pick those up whenever I see'em.

Well, that's it! No more hunting for me for a good long while. Which is a good thing mind you.

Guess I'll have to do something about my sig. now....

If someone could pick me up that comic Whiplash, I would love you forever! lol I never go to Ross anymore as it's about 2 hours away. I used to go there alot when my sister worked there and I still collected joes. It was really a crapshoot even then.

hey this is niice! i have that iron man too. i wish they did more ultimates stuff in MU. love that accessory you have iron man on there.

i am thinking of getting that ultimate cap from the comic movie series, but i just wonder why they made his entire pants grey when they were always blue in the book? weird. might have to get him and paint him.

Yay! Two Imperious Rex variants at Target on lunch break today! They had just stocked 2 of every figure in the wave and I only picked up 2 Sub-Mariners because they were both variant stands. That felt weird, ha, but I now have an extra moc variant to sell/trade.
