Well it is my understanding that Canada is a bunch of Hosers, so this may be an explanation for you.

I bought that building from Big Lots. I actually ended up selling it. It looks cool, but it's very flat. It's a good set for the money, but I couldn't figure out how to use it in my display, now I kind of wish I kept it to use with my desert Joes. Oh well.

when the largest tru in the country marvel selection only has MU trucks, wave one thor, year old IM2 and wave one cap toys you know there is something wrong. this is how i feel about Canadian retail and MU. i dont even bother going into retail stores anymore because ill either be totally let down not finding anything or totally raped in my wallet if magically do.

after the archangel wave things just disappeared in my area. occasionally a kitty pride or aim solider finds its way back from being lost in a store room somewhere into the pegs...but that's about it.

luckily i found a solution that isnt too bad with a lcs. their is a slight mark up but nothing close to what i would be paying online.

No one should have to pay online prices. Things like Ebay should always be last resort.

Ebay is the only way to get them in Canada. Most times it is cheaper than LCS as they often mark figures up to 20$.I just got the whole wave 5 from Cali for under 12 wach shipped, pretty good deal

Well, that all depends on if you're likely to ever see what you want at retail, if you stay on top of ebay, and only search for auctions, you can come up pretty hard sometimes. For example, I got Blade a few weeks ago for less than $15, which is about half what people are asking-Buy it Now-.

Yeah thats true. I have gotten many great deals from ebay. My only complaint is that is often the exception and not the rule.

I don't mind ebay, but with my situation, I kind of hate it. Thanks to the ark, I got everything I really want that is out. Problem is, Gigantic Battle sets are way to expensive to ship! If I could find those at retail, then spend a few extra dollars here and there for a 3 3/4 figure, things wouldnt be to bad.

I know what you mean. Gigantic battles are hard to get everywhere. Does anyone know how tall the large figures are exactly?

Some work perfectly for ML or MU. Any of the size changing characters are perfect either way. The frost giant so far is the only one that might be questionable since he won't be as imposing. So that one is more of a taste choice.

PM me when you're not broke if you want it. I didn't think that set was really sought after.

Scored this baby at Target today. No Mags, Wolvie, or Ice Man though. Still gotta be on the lookout.

Well I didn't say you wanted him for that reason, the set has gotten more popular because of the reason I stated. Revengers.
