Apocalypse is cool but he is too squaty...If he was taller and had the A on his belt i would be much happier.

Yea I say paint them also. Screw it your pretty good with paint, paint him entirely and add some weathering to his clothes. Thatd be sick.

Were the last two waves pushed out so close together so that we would wait till after December for the next wave or will we see that wave soon also? It'd only be smart I'd think to release that wave also before the holiday rush.

There are already threads for choices on best, worst figures out yet.

Man that is a MEAN question. I think Dr Strange is my favorite, has lots of colour, detail, articulation plus is an awsome character.

Really? I don't remember a favorite/best thread. Anywho I say paint mandarins rings that way worst case get another I know you can find one.

Funny thing is, I have found everything from that wave, at least twice, but not one Mandarin. Got this one from an Arker.

Here is one that I made and there actually is another thread that was posted on maybe a few weeks ago that was only for best MU figure.

I kinda dig that Gambit and kinda don't...I'm not really feeling the scarf. But I like the look of the head and the body's right. If he comes with Sinister though...I'm definitely getting him.

I wonder if the scarf (which seems to be most peoples biggest complaint) is removable

It's a biblical name. Though yes it doesn't help with the modern definitions, but that at least helps with the reasoning behind the name.

The biblical one was "A mighty one on earth" and "a mighty hunter before god", hence the sentinel being named that. Though the modern usage of the word may also derive from later stories of how because he turned away from god his kingdom fell asunder.

Rather explains the Purifier's obsession with him, and it also explains the hypocrisy with why the purifiers will never win(idolatry of nimrod, and so much more you could go into about it). Though they claim actions in god's name, they are doing nothing but killing and hurting innocents. Something their good book(New testament) tells them explicitly not to no matter how they justify it.

Not to get into a religious debate or anything, just pointing out the origins of those stories and the reasons behind the names and innuendo intentionally used in the stories.

While this seems offtopic, it does reflect back onto the X-Force figures they've made in this scale already, and why we need their most common antagonists as well as nimrod.
