I'm pretty happy with the Scorpion we got, but I would've preferred one like D Day posted if I had a choice.

On the subject of advanced armor Iron Man, aside from the lack of elbow swivels, he's quite fantastic. He's not the same mold as War Machine, but he shares a couple parts. I'm not a fan of the big fins on the back though. Since the mold is so similar to the Arctic Armor, I bought another of each from BBTS (they're like $3 apiece now) and I'm gonna do up a custom one without the fins on the back, and some hack-together elbow swivels.

Recieved Cable (with baby) in the post this morning. Bought it from PeteParkers BST... only to then find out my Girlfriend had bought him for me for Xmas. What are the odds that we both pick the same figure? So come Xmas I'll have 2 Cables! Depending on which variant it is I'll probably be keeping one and trading the other off for something else. Really not sure what to do. Upset her a fair bit by doing that too. >.<

Yeah you know I'm not really a fan of any of the Ultimates characters, or the 2099 or basicly any thing thats a variation of somthing that already existed.

I kinda find that lazy in a way. I mean I understand that it is difficult to come up with new chararcters but i'd rather see better stories and cross over comics with existing characters ala civil war and stuff like that then to just put something in the future and re draw an existing charcter.

Like a bad ass Scorpion already exists, why would you completly change what you have and make some clone of spiderman but in a scorpion suit? Kinda hokey.

I expect that kinda stuff from DC because they don't have that strong an arsanal of characters. But Marvel doesn't need to be pulling that stuff.

If you want to write stuff in the future, age the characters and make them have to adapt with the limitations and dimished strength and abilitys that age has brought them.

@Zictor Man that sucks lol, Same thing happened to me last year I bought a NFL jersey on a black Friday sale, The next day my girl was like WHERE DID YOU GET THAT! She walk away from me after I told her. I was like

Mine was slightly worse though, she made me promise not to buy any Marvel characters until after Xmas... and then cried because I'd spoilt the Christmas surprise... I feel really bad and can't think how to make it up to her... The damage has been done!

Ouch dude, If you promised and broke that promise, the damage is hard to repair, Just think real hard, you know her better than anyone here Im sure you will figure something out

I went out shopping with her today and I found about 20 AIM soldiers at half their usual price. Wasn't even allowed to get them
