I got sentinel placement labeled, and a big hulk crater. its an ambitious project, and currently I'm researching building materials. if I manage to get ahold of an old gijoe defiant or crusader shuttle, I can have a quinjet crash
haha, its all good man. I cant wait to see the progress on this. Just picturing how you have it laid out is sick.

It'll prolly take a long time, cause i'm actually looking at other playsets also to include. Like the toybiz Kingpin Crime Empire playset. It was the top of his building from the spidey 90s animated series, and it opened up to be this semi big playset, and I was thinking "Wow, that would be neat to add. kinda weird that its on the same block as the baxter building"

Some of the Marvel Legends had the Sentinel bases. I think he got that from the lot of 3 that was recently on eBay. You can find just the bases from them on eBay

Actually, I beat all you guys, lol. Just sayin. Here are some of my pics from older threads:

@Nexodusrex: This sounds like a most excellent idea. I cannot wait to see how it turns out. I love seeing people's dios. If you're thinking about which playsets you can use I would highly recommend the following:

Ghostbusters Firehouse
Police Academy Precinct
Spawn Alley
Spider-Man Alley
Ninja Turtles Sewer
Tech Deck Playsets (surprisingly awesome accents for any urban setting)

TRU has the new captain america jet for $25, I picked it up myself a few weeks ago and it's bad ass man! and will look even color when I repaint it. I like you idea for a giant diorama, they look sick when done right.. this is just a suggestion, but I've seen some cool coffeetables that have a huge display case build into them and they look bad ass as you can get the god like view of looking down on them. definatley A large wooden base to build off is necesary, u can by texture spray paint to give sone, rock and pavement looks, hobby shops sell small trees, plants, shrubs etc, also small barrels crates from figure factory figures could be used, 1:18th scale vehicles,... but if you want to be amazing try and top this

Fuckin' awesome!

I actually have the Spawn Alley playset on it's way to me as we speak (eBay). I think I've stumbled upon some of your pictures elsewhere and loved it... obviously.

^ Thanks. That Spawn Alley playset is so perfect for MU figures it's ridiculous. I can't believe it was originally made for 6" figures.

behindthemask, a lot of those playset options you've posted are cool, but are much too small. The Marx stuff is for sure waaaaayyyyyyyyy too small for MU, so is the Spider-Man Sky Rider playset. I'd say the only real viable options for what Nexodusrex is after are the X-Men Danger Room and Lady Liberty playsets, but neither of those are really city/urban.

I was just merely giving options as playsets, it's up to him to buy w.e suits his diorama, frankly the vehicles and lamp posts were the main things I wanted him to see. But if I had the money I'd just buy a 3d carving machine someone on here posted what their neighbour did with his and looked amazing.

Don't we all, but with a sticker price of between $3-10,000 depending on size and software is out of most of our price ranges. Especially when I'd put the $$ towards a car instead lol. seriously thought check the video on this page, they spent almost $5million dollars! making an epic airport display!

I remember reading an article in 2005 saying those sorts of machines would be affordable consumer products by 2013. Think about what you could do! That could concieavably hurt the toy industry in the long run though. Oh well.
