I thought it hard to believe an Electro variant is now surfacing beyond the shiny paint, but looks to be real. Weird.

That Electro is real. As is the re-release of the Iron fist variant. As shown here by someone who has simply found the revision wave most likely:

They're going to be the ones in this revision wave I'm sure. May also see the Darkhawk variant in this revision. May also get clear Strange in this. This is a solid revision wave because we also get Guardian. I'm almost tempted to snag it. Here it is below.

I like that clear-armed Electro. I already have that black dragon Iron Fist though... I think the Comic Pack version with Luke is much better.

I agree that the iron fist in the comic pack is better, I like the more classic look better with the collar.

On another note, I buckled and finally bought a spawn alley playset on evilbay for a decent price $11. The shipping costs is where they get you though. Seeing everyone's pics sold me though. I should get it this week. I'm looking forward to setting it up.

Usually I say "Electro? The jackass with the starfish mask? " but the clear arms look perfect for a Living Lazer custom.... heck, maybe a Photon or Quasar!

I sw a Bullseye revision today- laughed at how much it sucks compared with the comic pack version! Almost bought it to make an "Insane Norman Osborn" from the head though...saw that whole revision case- Doc Samson, WW Hulk, etc.

Bought another Steve Rogers to make...

The Shroud.

I'm tempted to say yes, only because I believe anything can be done. Definitely post a pic of it next to the figure and I'll tell you for sure.

Okay, here's the deal where I live. The 'variants' come packed in different cases than the 'regulars'. In the case of the most recent wave, Metal Absorbing Man came with 'Tony Stark' stand Tony Stark, while skin Absorbing Man came with the 'Iron Man' stand. Retail stores buy their cases in extreme bulk, meaning that they buy virtually all of their cases in the same flavor, most likely due to a lack of understanding regarding the collectibility of the variants, or an inability to choose both. LCS' in my area who order a case or two for the store pre-order, and end up getting the variant cases, metal man and tony, while the retail stores order when they need new stock, not pre-ordering, and they end up with skin man and Iron Man. That's the way it works for my area. Sounds like you're getting some of the same at the moment.

The only retail place I've seen variants is Toys R Us, who could be pre-ordering their stock.

Nice store though. You should trade them for stuff they don't have. That's how I've dealt with the 'specialty' store here in town. I trade crappy ones I can find anywhere for the ones only they have.

This is true, but sporadic in the Holiday season. Toys R Us is the least consistent for me, though Walmart has no idea what they're getting on any truck and restocks every night. I just can't go to every Walmart in town every night at midnight anymore.
