I think what it boils down to are capacity for remolds or reuse of known parts, and marketing of known characters.

With the exception of the Frost Giant and Loki, all the GB sets feature a lesser known character and a well known character. The lesser knowns tend to be the bigger figure and they also tend to reuse similar parts.

The Frost Giant set is different but it goes hand in hand with the Thor market right now. Not to mention the Goliath/Thor set also caters to that market because it also features the T-man.

A lot of it had to do with timing with the movie, I'd say

Oh man, I wish any of the Walmarts in my area carried these sets. I really wanted Goliath back in the day, and now, Black Goliath for my soon to be Civil War display. Whats the price for GB sets anyways, and, have any Canadians seen these in their local Walmarts?

I appreciate all sorts of the figures. Especially the less popular characters.

I only had one shelf available. I'll post the rest once I build another shelf or two.

I love 3 3/4 figures! So when I came accrost Marvel Universe I knew I wanted them all. I still dont have them all but I have a pretty sizable chunk. There are some non MU figures in here but only if I felt that I really needed a character. Some of my figures are currently in "the shop" as I am doing mods to them. Here are some overview shots of the collection so far. I have not been able to find any of the newest wavs though :-(

DUDE EPIC SET UP!!

I bought myself the same bike your bucky and captain america are on. I saw some sneak peak pictures of the Cap movie with Cap on that bike and I ran to Walmart to buy one, works great. Still waiting on more of a chopper style bike for my ghost rider though :P. Again though, epic displays are epic.

That hulk is from the Ed Norton Incredible Hulk film. I think it came out about 2008.

Its perfect scale for Marvel Studios movie Figures.

Not just MU; anything in the 3.75-4" scale that's Marvel, so your picture is perfect. How's the articulation on that Hulk?

This is awesome. I love a nice clean set up. Although, it must be fun when you have something big to carry up or down those steps

Well, now I need that Hulk.

..I just did some Amazon searching and couldn't find that exact figure. I did find some from the movie line and they're not cheap.

Thanks! One of my fave things is walking down the stairs and being surrounded by Marvel figures! I love that bike for Bucky and Captain America. I custom maid a holster for Bucky's bike so it can actually hold his tommy gun. The ghost rider bike is on my list of customs to be done so it will be completely rebuilt from the ground up.
