Not only that, but the likelihood of finding the figures you're looking for on Hasbro Toy Shop before they're sold out is often worse then going to a retail store in person anyway. So the thrill of the hunt is still there in a way.

I know. For it being the holidays, I've bought so many figures online since there are so many holiday sales going on right now. I haven't even bought any gifts for my family yet.

ha ha dang...better jump on to it than! I hope the free shipping lasts until they get those new comic packs in. Sinister/Gambit/Thanos/Warlock. That would make it really worthwhile.

Same here. I'm willing to trade WM for Electro.

Has anybody noticed Family Dollar is carrying Marvel Universe now?
I saw at three FD's today MU figures for $8.00 They all had the same selection: Modern Thor Wolverine (unmasked, yellow and blue JimLee style suit) Captain America (WWII first appearance w/ badge shaped shield) Iron Man (Modern "common" armor) I wonder if there is a different selection in other areas? I am assuming they chose those characters as a FD supply because of their name recognition with parents and kids given all the new movies. Looke like the same number of each too, like a special case selection. Woulda been cool to see some wave mates though (Sunfire, Luke Cage) |

My local WM has so many MU figs. More than I've ever seen in one place. I only want Electro and can't find him yet.

I've been appraising my Iron Man figures, and I've come to the sad conclusion that the best modern IM head is from that crappy series one IM. I need a couple more of those for their head.

So what's the difference with Cap? Is it the body paired with the old shield, maybe the belt? And thor is it just the paint and hammer? I don't think I need either one. Sucks for MOC colectors & completests. I for one am glad when they put out a couple figs I don't want/need. The next wave is like that for me.
