I bet you could just RIT dye the Daredevil body. Wouldn't even have to paint a single piece and it would be perfect.

Be sure to go international first class man, the only decent way to ship up there!

I know dude, but that is the price you pay for using USPS. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it costs a small fortune.

Really? That's wack. God knows how many times some one sends me something and it costs 1.98$. At least that's what it says on the sticker. To ship out a MOC figure to the USA is 5.86 or so.

I guess it depends on the province, but yeah, I've been burned. I will tell you though, when they burn me, I have to fill out a larger International form than usual. I've only had bad experiences with shipping to Canadian buyers on eBay so far, but it adds up.

Have someone in the US send you a Fedex Ground packsge with a bunch of paper or comics in it and some figs in there too.
Decalre a dollar for customs and call it "documents" on the commercial invoice.
There wont be any import duties that way....a box to Canade is likely $10-15.

I'm just sayin, is all.

Mike, what is RIT Dye?

Interesting idea, but I don't like running the risk of having someone's stuff held up in customs. And if I remember correctly, RIT dye is dye made to be added to clothes in a washing machine to turn a load of laundry a certain color.

It's a Dye you can buy at the grocery store or Walmart, etc.

Works for some plastics, i've done it before for 1:6 scale stuff.

You put the powder or liquid in a pot of boiling water, add the pieces and then it's dyed in your desired color. Only works on certain plastics and for certain colors but it CAN work really well.

it works best on soft plastics like polyester, but most MU pieces are a soft plastic so it would be worth a shot.

Very cool, thanks guys!
I think I'll look for it at the art store today and see what the box says- mayve try it out on some buck from my spares box...I wonder if it would work over factory paint like what's on the MU Captain Britain?

I don't get why they act like crossing into Canada is some sort of big fucking deal. The whole increased postage to canada is bullshit in any and every form.

It's import duties more than distance.
Documents though...they have no duties.

I planned on using the Shadowland DD body for my BP. It seems easier to just remove the 'D's than painting the CP DD black.

I don't know what to do about the neck fitting though. Putty around the neck ball seems the best way. I want the head to still be removable so I could switch the cape in and out.

Here's my FF in action on the top shelf. I can't wait for Spiderman & Doom.

And the other side with the Silver Surfer at Thanos's feet.

I saw a hell of an MU selection at TRU last night. I'm all set until the Psylocke wave hits so I didn't get anything, but I was impressed at the variety.. especially for a Sun night, after a crazy weekend of shoppers ravaging aisles. I saw at least two of Cable (no Hope), Spiderwoman, Rogers, Namor, Ultron, X-23, Modern Thor, Bullseye, various Ironmen, Cap Marvel, WW Hulk, Doc Samson, Absorbing Man, and probably more I can't think of. If the Cables I saw were because of a revision wave, I guess anyone Hoping they'd be able to get a baby are out of luck.

They also had a couple of those black Destroyers, and a few others (glow hammer Thor, sorcerer Loki) from the Thor line, but none that I wanted.

I haven't tried the Captain Britain body. Some MU figures work and some don't. I've also had way better luck with the powder than the liquid. And black is the easiest color to use. I dyed a Ghost Rider and Captain America this weekend and they worked perfectly.

If you're current; they pretty much all are. I almost bought a Hopeless Cable just because I don't see him on pegs very often.
