Very true, but he does look lot shinier. Going to trade up the first one I have back to retail :P Since I remember these were kind of peg warming a bit.

Got a text from my lcs owner... just picked up 2 psylockes and an ages of thunder thor! Passed on the rest. He had the new 2 packs. While sinister and gambit look amazing in person, $21 was too much for me... I need a crap figure to try my first custom paint job on... don't want to ruin my psylocke!

Shoot I paid 25 for my Thanos/Warlock/Gambit/Sinister. Only cause I think those are the hottest ones and will be hard to find in the beginning.

I'll be surprised if I see the new comic packs in retail, seems like the rate at which I used to find stuff dropped significantly over the last few months. I used to always check but usually didn't buy anything, and it looks like someone else out there is hitting the same stores I used to.

I don't think I ever really took into account just how ridiculous Mr. Sinister looks. And I'm not talking about the action figure, I'm talking about the Goth/Vampire thing. He's really pretty stupid looking.

Nice comparison pics. Looks like gambit is the exact same as xmo with exception to the head. Thats really disappointing. Sinister on the other hand looks great. Looks like his head is slightly bigger than colossus. I like.

Adding wrist articulation will be fun/easy. Foot articulation I think is out of my skill level..

I really don't like the coat gambit comes with either. I ended up using the one from a dc figure that works better.

I've got a few extras from Wave 17 available to trade if anyone is interested- Iron Fist, Storm, Patriot, and Thor. I'm looking for comic colored Hydra troops (either the #12 or #15 version), Renegades Storm Shadow, or Zombie Vipers.

annnd im done for a few weeks. i talked(haggled) my LCS into selling them for 10 a piece. Better than 13 IMO. Like everyone else, i'll buy the 2 packs at retail and avoid being getting ripped. Passed on Daredevil of course lol.
