Why cant you take them put of the packaging again?
That deluxe figure is kinda odd- he's a freakin' tank! Big as Thor~!

I was thinkning of taking him and tricking him out with Joe gear- maybe make him a cyborg or something to explain his freakish size.

No place to display them just yet. All together I would have a mighty TEN Hydra Troops. Wish there was more for 2 bucks a pop. Got one at Winners for a 1.80$

Nick Fury is badder than all those candyasses combined.

He's the man that walked away from all that authority and the law to wage his personal war on Hydra- assembling three teams of super powered young people, training the hell out of them and waging war on a global scale aginst a teror organization with so much money and connections that the US and UN would do nothing.

Then, after dismantling their operations, he explained to baron Strucker how he'd played his ass for years by feeding him disinformation and how he'd replaced Strucker's best friend and co-leader of Hydra with his own badass brother Jake Fury (after faking Jake's death years earlier)- after all that....

He blew his head right the hell off.

Losers like Batman or Captain America let their nemesis just keep coming back to terrorize innocents- not Nick Fury.

Now Daisy is in charge of the new SHIELD and she's still got two teams of super powered badasss agents at her disposal.

And Nick? Well, he's still around, faking Bucky's death, manipulating Steve into becoming Cap again...still screwing everyone to do what needs to be done.

as Spider man said "We need an I got screwed by Nick Fury T-Shirt!"

I know what you mean, there's 1 Walmart around me locally and I was able to score about 5 hydra goons for myself, I had 2 of the deluxe versions already and now got 2 variant and 3 regular, and trying to find the comic styled the brighter green ones. I got an army of 6 skrulls coming from peterparker, and possibly some handninjas just need to expand on aim and shield and I'll be set, unfortunatley the shield figures are so damn pricey from the 3packs I may have to resort to making my own customs.

Really, to anyone that missed it, pick up the trades of Secret Warriors! That series kicked ass- and so many great characters got brutally killed!

Plus you get to see Nick deck Norman Osborn, cut a deal with Ares (and empty a few clips into him too) and lots of lots of hydra goons get slaughtered when shit hits the fan!

And everyone is screweing over everyone else- lots of manipulation and deception throughout the series. Lots of betrayals.

Oh, and Nick robs a swiss bank of a billion dolllars to pay for it all.

As for the bank, if the account remains unnamed I'm going to assume it was free masons, because why not.

Sorta getting back on topic, I ditched my MU nick fury, but I kept the head, any modern body a good swap?
Maybe a straight up Bullseye headswap, if anybody could provide pics?

Use the Sam Jackson body from the IM2 four-pack!
I used that body and a GI Joe Red Star head for a much better Fury than the send away (though Id kill for that bigass gun he came with!).

Don't, that and the back pack were pretty disappointing, it was bigger than he was and twice as ugly.

I incorporated bill foster into my display shelf and added silver surfer onto one of my flight stands. Ive lost track of how many are in this 4 foot shelf. Ill try to put goliath(pym) up there once i can unlock his joints(both his thigh ball joints are stuck and cant rotate).

Yeah I know but it was actually from an issue of Secret Invasion- Nick uses it to blow the head off a Giant Man Skrull- the same one from the Gigantic Battles pack!
That makes two dead giant characters MU has made!

I just went to target- they had dick, but on the way out I saw this odd line of anime (?) charcters called Redakai- some sorta game thing, I guess.
There's one called Chemaster that, with minimal effort, willl make a great earthquake from the Sh'iar Imperial guard!
This is him next to some Star trek losers in 3.75" (man those toys blew)

Here's earthquake- he's got the same hands and feet even!

I just need to cut a mouth slit and chop off some spine plate tingies...repaint and viola! A pal for Gladiator and Warstar!

ha! I just picked up the walmart gift set for 15 bucks! love clearance time. was the last one they had. so now my steve rogers has his energy shield and I have custom fodder.

So I made it out to a walmart the other day and found two Magnetos, both had what I thought was crappy face paint. It looked like the flesh color was rubbed off. Is it supposed to be like that or is it crap paint apps?

Yup he looks like that unfortunately. I almost didn't want to get him just for that. I thought the same as you...It's suppose to be a cast of a shadow on his face, something like that. Instead it looks like dirt.

Wow. That's disappointing.

It's a really great figure, but I don't know if I can get past the "shadow" effect. If I were an opener I would paint that sucker.
