Supposedly it's Extremis in the same translucent plastic as Iron Spider-Man.

I think that's a triangle on his chest so I'm guessing Extremis. But it's definitely hard to say.

no. i never believe the "cancelled" figs rumor hype. if they teased us with images, that's as good as a guarantee release.

Haha to further prove your point against my paranoia... I was pretty sure Series 2 of the Avengers Light Up figures would be cancelled because the sales were bad.

Hmm..I was suprised that they did not just make the Avengers movie line the light up figs- I'm glad they did not though!
Too bad they used the suckass Hulk on them though- that New Hulk cant arrive fast enough!

that BP is pretty good looking actually. had mine on that body till i upgraded to the new one. dig the use of dark avengers spiderman's hands or at least i think they are. been wanting that set just for the open clawed hand for my BP.

If Moon Knight/Ant Man was cancelled I'll be disappointed but yet not. I mean, I want an Eric O'Grady Ant Man, but if they were going to release the old mold for Moon Knight then no. I think a lot of people would agree.

It's enough to make a person sweat though... and no mention / pics of the set on the 2012 update is worrying.

On another note; does anyone know if it's possible to pull the upper torso off an MU (without damaging it) as I wanted to switch a SW Absorbing Man upper torso for the regular carded to create a triple change between 3 figs. I've tried with some force, but I didn't want to risk breaking it.

If it's canceled it's because retailers aren't ordering more CPs, which seems odd with the recent price hike and the ones shown.
On the flipside though, they could end up at clearance stores for cheaper.

If anything, Ant-Man (O'grady) may end up in a team pack or single carded later since Hasbro would probably not let that mold go unused.

Odds are it's probably being retooled to update the legs on both, or they are pushing it back to favor some other figures first. They didn't show off thanos/adam warlock, or Quicksilver/wonderman or Daredevil Bullseye or gambit sinister either.

Chances are it's also because it was toy fair which is about generating retailer orders, not pleasing fans. Whereas the cons (SDCC and NYCC) are about generating fan buzz. Retailers may have already ordered those CPs, so there was no reason to push them, and instead opted to push the new ones to keep the orders coming in.

The same is probably true about thundercats. The store orders are coming in fine right now, no need to show much off. Whereas the cons need the fan buzz so showing stuff off there would be the best thing. (Plus too much is probably still in the making a prototype stage like the armor of plundarr or whatever other new stuff might be in the pipeline for christmas/next year.)

the avengers assemble 2nd wave looks good, variants nice except that captain, we've seen to much of him. why didnt they add hawkeye intead. i really whant that translucent iron man, im a sucker for the translucent variants haha.

In the pics of BP check over his right Shoulder, there is a 'super red' looking Iron Man maybe that is the one they are referencing
