i know this is 3.75 but just wanted to share this pic of my son filling out his Avengers valentines cards for his class tomorrow. comes with a Avengers poster. I wanted the poster but he wouldnt give it to me..lol

That's partially why a lot of the mockery happened. A lot of people get tired pretty quickly of that mistake.

I like the costumes, plus the show. I only was really into DC comics as a kid, because that is what my dad had.

my 10 y/o daughter was doing this same thing earlier, except she went with the Star Wars Lollipops motif. she also got her teacher a Yoda Pez Dispenser!! she insisted on paying for it all w her chore money too. that made me extra proud.

My 4 y/o daughter would put the spidey mask and hold mjolnir and Caps shield and goes "daddy look im a superhero" everytime I bring her with me when I go toy hunting.

On Punisher War Journal he has over a month to draw each issue (it was bi-monthly) and he had Chuck Dixon writing- all that gear and guns was drawn from references Dixon provided- he really expected a lot from Lee and he got it.

But like so many other celebrity artists, his work has dropped as his fame increased.

I love Jim Lee's art. Regardless if its DC or Marvel. I grew up with 90's X-Men and seeing the Jim Lee style figures totally brings back that nostalgia factor. His stuff on DC is great too.

Yea. I do enjoy his new 52 art though, but still. Guy is kind of over rated, imo.
