NO sweat. your avatar reminds me that i need to post pics of the slight repaint I did to Sentry to make him all "crazy Void"- definitely menacing having him flying with the villians!

Dude, I have been thinking of repainting him and actually making him a bit shorter. One of my fav characters, or maybe my fav, hes darn close.

I'm usually not a big fan of clear figures, but I like how Nightcrawler is just clear here and there. I like the Storm, and just realized Colossus was a variant too.
..and this is now my 4th version of this Wolverine mold. I'm thinking I need that ugly black suit Wolverine from the SS Comic Pack just to keep it going.

I have Rhino he's a huge letdown because his legs only have ball joints at the waist but they dont have knee joints so it's a daunting task when he falls in my display cause he needs to be positioned to even be able to stand

Here is my Mr Fantastic Custom. Ideas where taken from Jason. I just used a darker blue, and white instead. Which I am regretting because white is so annoying to put on, so this will have to do till I get some decals [thanks again Jason!]. I also used the hands from the original, because I really like them :P. Next on my list is a Invisible Woman, whenever I come across an extra MU female body, which could take forever, but that's ok.
Now I just have to wait for the FF box set and the re-release of flame on Human Torch to have a more modern team. Here is to the First Family of Heroes! Hurray! PS. Sorry for the crappy quality on the close up and the last pic >.<

HA! That' looks great- that body swap is such an improvment and the Byrne-era FF costume looks great on Reed!

The ff team looks great, now u just need Sue. I still haven't seen any variant sets, I don't care too much for colossus and storm but want that variant nightcrawler.

I'm not sure who/what I will be using to make Invisible Womans head. Baroness is the only female Gi Joe left around these parts. I'll see what I can find after work =3

Odin With Removable Helmet & Gungnir
I put this in the appreciation thread as opposed to the custom thread because its not much of a custom, you can easily get the minimates Odin helmet and put it on the 3.75 Odin. I did make a few other alterations though... I think the helmet fits perfect. All it took was some mild trimming off of the hair that was attached to the helmet, cut out the peg on the inside of the helmet with a sharp stanley knife. Gungnir was made from the top of the minimates Gungnir and the spear bit is from a chicken satay stick. I also shortened Odin buy about a quarter of an inch at his torso so now he is just shorter than Thor, rather than being about 6'8" like they made the figure look. I dont know if they are going to release a helmeted Odin, so if not. here is your other option. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
