Just out of curiosity... has anyone here tried using Sharpie markers to "paint" custom heads? I just put the finishing touches on my Nick Fury Jr./ Commander Rogers mash-up. I colored the neck and hands chocolate brown and made the gloves black using fine-point sharpies and it looks pretty awesome.

Maestro is a bargain hunter, and has apparently been to Tony Stark's yard sale.

I need to show him who is 'good' and who is 'bad'.

Great Maestro, Scott! An excellent custom..even though the character looks like gamma irradiated Santa Claus.

The new wave of Heroclix (where that Sentinel comes from) has a Dormammu!
He's about 7-9" tall at a guess and looks pretty badass, though he's in the odd New Avengers look- all black with orange bits on his armor.
I was seriously thinking of getting one and repainting him in classic colors- but it'd be a lot of work- his old duds are nothing like the new version.

And he's $30.

Still....it'd be badass to have with the Watcher and Galactus....

There is a Mastermold as well! However he would be far too small to display with the MU Sentinels but it looks cool enough to have on a shelf to "represent". My buddy and I went in on the original Galactus and that thing is quite impressive itself.

I for sure need Uatu though, i think size wise he will be fairly close to Marvel Select version.

LOVE those scott!! I only have one tiny complaint, Maestro is missing my favourite trophy.....Wolverine's adamantium skeleton wired together to make a clawed gauntlet:
Marveltoys.net - The source for Marvel figure information!

Thanks Iceman, LongestDay! DFD, that's exactly what I was thinking when I was going through my bag of MU fodder and accessories. Tiberius, if I had more time (and money) I'd gladly hook you up, thanks for the compliment BTW. Jason, you should have seen him before I painted his eyebrows green, LOL. Proteus, I was working on something using paperclips but it came out all crappy, I decided to leave it out for now.

Thanks, Symbiote!

I started using fine sharpies for eyeballs. Word of caution, if you decide to spray it with a sealer or matte finish, sharpie ink tends to bleed. Make sure it's a 100% dry before you spray it.

Really nice custom work scottmurdock. Strucker and maestro look great.

Nice custom accessory work starscream. I'm also experimenting with the hot glue gun for the lack of mu accessories. Keep it up and let me know what other characters you've made accessories for. I'm thinking of making one for cyclops soon.
