Which is why I thank God every morning that I work at a grocery store. The worst you deal with there is Russians who barely speak a word of English trying to barter with the manager, old ladies who are confused about simple things, and rude customers who assure you they could do your job better.

Pay could be better though. :/ At least I get enough to pay for gas, all my food I eat at work and an action figure or two here and there.

He tells me the Iron Man ought of wave 2 was CRAP anyway and continued to list reasons why what I was looking for was not in the store.

So I continue to talk to him and explain (calmly) why what he is telling me makes no sense (i mean cmon I know the game and know why there are no wave 2 figs there), I then ask why there are no wave 2, he gets even more distrought at me (I dont know why) and continues to make excuses as to why there are only wave one! I am not quite sure why he was so pissed as I was not...

He then gets a store supervisor involved and to the SS's behalf she was (i guess) backing her employee...

she starts rambling on about how if I wanted them I would have to order them online and have them shipped, as I was simply just stating how her store employee was completely wrong (in the most open minded tone I could), and she started to change her demeanor...

~Again~ I dont know why as the employees were the ones making a big deal out of it...

I dont know if they knew they were wrong or what?

Then they asked if I WOULD LEAVE. So I politely left with nothing...and trust me I WILL NEVER go back there again...

I just didnt get how I had done nothing wrong, and I was asked to leave...

Pretty Fucked up...

He's probably not making it up. But the number of times he reiterates how calm he was makes his role in the story suspect. It's okay though...I'm sure a lot of us have calmly been all up in the grill of a TRU employee once or twice.

Seriously- after the woman spit in her face! If I recall the story correctly, the girl just ran out crying.

Almost the whole staff present quit that store including my friend- just never came back after that night.

Many times my friend has told me about it and how he'd have been in jail for beating that woman's ass!
Hell, I think he called me that night to tell me how fucked up the whole thing was. Nowdays, spitting on someone is Assualt- and i'd sure press charges if someone tried that crap at my job.

You know...I bet the woman that spit on the employee has done so again since then- after all, she not only got away with it, but the manager also fired the girl she spit on- talk about making a monster even worse. Hell, knowing TRU, she probably got an apology for the girl's language.

Ouch that truly sucks!

Thats a tough find. I scored a clear shield in a trade for a random IM to a guy on Marvelousnews. I never thought anyone would trade away the clear shield, but you never know until you ask.
