Ha ha I've done that before too while on the hunt. I know Walmart loves to stock late at night...

Oh ya def. love seeing the statue displays there for sure, and you have to admit they do have a great variety as much as they try to rape you on some of the items

Thanks. I'll figure something out. I have both (clear stands & Quakehold), but love LapuLapu's set up there, so I might as well go the distance and get the XMO version... I already dropped $15 on a stand for an $8 figure, so what the hell.

..Aqualad does come with a lot of other blue water accessories, so maybe I can do something with those too.

The water piece is a little posable. There is a flat part at the end where I attached mine and used the clear rubber band at the tail end. The only extra part lapulapu has is in between the two blasti things that comes from a dc figure mr atom I think.

You know...I gotta say that's pretty badass.
And after you said it was a rip off to get for just the stand! Shame on you!

(Kidding! Put down the machette!)

I'll wait till they hit Marshalls for $6.99 and snag one....I just picked up the ML Torch version this week for $5 loose so it's be a matching set!

Gotta say, I'd probably blow the $30 for that new hulk- and I'd make a more bugg Loki while I'm at it....
That skinny Iron man is a disgrace unless you plan on making Iron Lad (znd I kinda hate that character).

hmmm...I suppose it could serve as the base for a Rescue custom- it has feminine arms and legs.

I'm halfway through with a Sky-Cycle for Hawkeye! It'll be a bit more budd than the comics version, but still obviously from the same family- more like the cartoon version, I suppose.

OUTSTANDING!

Really a great Blazing Skull there!
Is it a Cap body with cyclops upper torso and arms with a Ghost Rider skull? Really great use of parts, man!
You really should use a pair of Commander Rogers legs on Union Jack- it's such an improvment with no painting required! Even if you dont keep the leg stripe (and I think it looks perfect) you can thae that off with 90's alcohol and an old tootbrush in minutes.

For Bishop you could also use a shirtless Storm Shadow piece with some light trimming- and for making a Hope custom you could use the hood piece from Zartan- just trim away the hood and leave the ratty poncho.
Both figs from the ROC movie line and dirt cheap online.

hmmm possibly. DFD had sent me a bunch of random loose accessories including the spidey line's hobgoblin cape. just needs some fixing up at the neck but i feel it'd be a decent tattered poncho/cape thing for hope. just need a decent head now.

I've been sooo tempted to make a hope custom. I saw a good one on figurerealm awhile back that used the black widow head. The person molded on more hair pieces to it. I just have a feeling that we can expect to see her at sdcc since legends has one now. I'm also hoping for a stryfe figure too. I started one but didn't finish him. Isn't he supposed to come out in legends?

I wish I could get a ML human torch and namor base. Those two are must gets for me. Phoenix as well.

Hope in 3.75 if so I'm getting rid of my Legends one...
I believe so, some one said he was going to be wave 3's BAF.

Well it loks great- I was wondering how you painted GR's skull to be so menacing but now i see that it's also the SHS head adding to the coolness.

I'm also looking for the Phoenix base but I've seen the Torch base a couple of times (usually when I'm broke or blowing my cash on other stuff) so I'll keep an eye out for you. Hydro Man's base is a must for namor...though if you can score the Aqualad one cheap, it would work as well.

Maybe use a BW head with ROC Baroness hair (trimmed some) with a X-23 body, BW lower legs and trimmed Zartan hoodie-poncho. or even a triimmed Spidey line Hobgoblin cape.

Personally, I'd wait- she'll probably either get a new costume or get killed in AvsX. Her costume underneath that ratty poncho looks cool though- very "X-Factor Jean Grey".

kaiju Geek, those are great pics- That cap shot of him and Strucker os almost exactly how Nick Fury blew his head off.
Yes, really. The Stryfe idea is pretty cool- I have an extra Ultron body and Cable head too....hmmm...
And making his android teleporter companion Zero is the laughably easiest custom of all time!
