I was just thinking to ask if anyone had received this. Any paint problems at all or damage on the sdcc red skull?

None. Paint is really good, joints all good, etc. No complaints here. He was wrapped about 4x in bubble wrap too. I'm very satisfied.

Anyone else have trouble with Jim Lee - Cyclops MU? Seems like mine has a problem with the ankle ball, and if I try to adjust him on the stand, they feel like they are going to break off. I'm not the only person I know with that problem, but I was curious if you guys had.

I've always liked the look of the SDCC Red Skull, but didn't think it was worth the price I always saw it going for. His suit has a lot more detail to it, and it's much more Nazi looking. And I think the skull sculpt is awesome... very comic book/cartoonish. The only negative about the figure that I can tell is that his wrists are part of the arm mold, so no articulation there (which does make it tough for him to hold a gun out and be straight). He also doesn't twist at the waist like the movie version, but I really don't think Red Skull needs to be posed any other way than just standing. Very cool figure.

I think it's worth a try if you like the figure. If it doesn't work out, you're only out about two gallons of gas. Another figure I got yesterday was one that most people only have because they wanted the Silver Samurai. Not me. After hating on this figure for so long it became something I needed to have because of how dumb it looks. And has this mold become the MU version of Takara's MP Prime mold? It's not as good as the Prime mold, but it sure as hell seems to get repainted as much.

Dude! That Red Skull looks great- way better than the movie version! Path Logan's head could make an excellent Sh'Iar warrior- they have purple or black plumage that looks like that hair. I took those hands and swapped them with the Sabertooth comic pack Wolverine and painted them brown- really looks great on that figure too! Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 06-21-2011 at 01:17 PM.. |

Just to be different. I like the movie one a lot more. Whenever I get mine in the mail I will be customizing a Destro body for his nazi get up. Wish I had epic model clay skills and make him a few medals and Nazi officer hat too, that would be SICK.

Still don't like it, much. I like the Eddie Brock one and the Dark Avengers one. If there where more Thunderbolts, I would probably think differently. I would like to see something on this scale though PS. Hasbro, give us Ares already. Us collectors have been more than patient for this figure! PSS. I see a lot of custom Odins with the minimates helmet. Anyone know if the Ares minimates helmet works on 3 3/4 scale or is tooo big

I agree with Ares, comon we need him, and Herc for that matter!!! forget about the minimates ares helmet if you want a perfect helmet for a 3.75 ares custom, use the blue star wars guy from the clone wars cartoon. i think his name was argos or something, maybe argyl. thats the helmet everyone uses.

Would either of these work from the 6" Spiderman line? Contemplated using this with the 3.75 line for a while to recreate his monstrous size scale. Don't think he's bulky enough though for either. But since it's Venom, having him be a 6"figure should be that out of scale, IMO.

USE a BAF Pitt figure, if you want that scale, however he'll cost ya like $50+ and hrs of sculpting/painting.
