I don't like the hit my wallet takes but, I get a sort of Fix from getting them. As soon as I have them out of the packet and have posed them a bit, I want more!

I just got back from picking up the weekly haul from my local comic shop, and lo and behold in front of me is the whole new wave, including all the different plates/stands. Incredible. Lucky for me i already bought them at target. And considering what he charges, 60 bucks for 5 figs.....

found some good dio ideas Marvel Select Cyclops and Gambit. Both Cyclops and Gambit come with these handy Danger Room Stands. For Marvel Select its a Stand....but put it together, and for Marvel Universe, its a Danger Room Dio!

I could not stop looking at skaar back and how it lacks paint apps so I took some of my paint I had ( when I used to do custom clone trooper ) and did some touch up and that his weapon had a dull coat. gave it some sliver , brown and black wash to bring it out . Like WW Hulk .

Nice job on that Skaar, felks! I love it, but it's so damn big that I can't find a spot where it's lit well, yet not super reflective against the dio. That is correct. Shitty picture, but it's a great dio. It's freakin' huge!

That is one nice diorama. That could look awesome with a bit of photoshop added to it! I wish I had the space to have a Diorama. I quite like the idea of posing the figures in a battle scene in a wrecked city or something. I'd probably build one using model railway parts, gathering small stones etc. Also just added Thor to my collection. Thought I'd stick with getting the movie ones, disappointed with the lack of a helmet but the rest of him is awesome! |

				 | Quote: Finally found a decent Tony Stark head. I was at TRU and they had a great sale, any 2 MU, Star Wars, Capt. America, Iron Man, Spider-man, GI Joe, or Thor figure for $10.99. Ultimate custom fodder time!!! [SNIP] And this came in the mail today. I found this figure on Ebay that originally had the ghost rider head. I'm not sure what the original base figure is but the seller was selling it as ghost rider. I needed a base figure that had a suit. The head is from a DC Lex Luthor. All I need now is to either get the wheelchair from the avatar figure or something else. Any suggestions on the wheelchair or better yet, hover chair? I wanna know what that Stark head head is though, darnit. Last edited by Boba Fettuccini; 08-17-2011 at 10:07 AM.. |

Thanks boba. Here is the ebay link where I got him http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...809795&trxId=0 I paid $10 for it. I really only got it for the suit base. I think it works well for a professor x figure. Now if only I can find a good wheelchair or hover chair to go along with him. The head is from a lex luthor dc crisis figure. I also swapped the head for a tony stark figure to put in my hall of armor. I think the professor x swap looks better though. Last edited by Symbiote; 08-17-2011 at 10:19 AM.. |

				 | Quote: The MU characters one of the stores I visited today had weren't really favourites of mine, Luke Cage, Black Widow and an Aim soldier, I did study them all carefully before deciding that I'd leave them... seeing as they've been there weeks anyway so if all of a sudden I do want them I know that I could just go grab them! Haha. |

Check the stores that haven't carried Thor, they might jump in on the new waves.
