So, anyone residing in the East Coast of the US have any luck finding the X-23 wave yet? I'm planning to check out my Wal-Mart tomorrow morning.

This'll be the first time I'm doing this, but if I find a couple of her, I wanna get two - one to open and one to keep MOC, so I can commemorate my favorite female Marvel character finally receiving an action figure that does her justice.

Can't wait to find Darkhawk or Rogers either!

I lost several firing missiles from my Star Wars Millenium Falcon gun stations outside. Then when helping with landscaping years later, I found them again. I lost pieces of my speeder bike when I took it camping, and 2 years later, the piece was found sitting on the picnic table at the campsite.

I've been really lucky that way.

You know whats crazy I saw a "handful of heroes" Thor figure outside on my drive way one day and though aww man some poor kid lost his thor so I propped him up outside on the sidewalk right by the fron of my house and the next day he was gone. Weather or not it was the same kid that lost it or not someone got a mini Thor lol.

When I was younger my friends and I were making a cobra soldier fly and my friend accidently threw it on the roof, Then I left the school and a few years later my friend gave it to me, the caretaker got it off the roof and my friend stole it for me.

Nice shot, vamp. That's a very real looking Spidy figure.

..is that the Spidy line "legends size" Venom over to the left there? I've been trying not to but that all summer (I dont collect that size), but I'm getting weak. Almost bought him last week.

darkhawk uses an onld mold so dont expect any thigh swivels or dynamic range of movement. x-23 and steve have the newer molds. she also has a different paint scheme from the 3 pack and single carded x-force team. steve would make a gud ares custom tho

X-23 is in her current comics costume, not her X-Force get up of two years ago.
People seem upset over this, but really...she'd had her own title all this time and everything.

I still can't belive I found these this fast.....I just got the skaar wave last week, and had to get both stranges of Ebay...

All figures are awesome....I didn't get Namor,I have the SDCC one....the only thing that's new on the fig is the head sculpt....I'll end up getting him,but I'm not in a rush....So check your walmarts fellas.. they had 7 fresh cases out that weren't even touched..And I'm pretty sure they had the Future Foundation sets also...Cus all they had were 8 X-force packs, and 8 Avengers packs....So someone must have grabbed all the FF packs...

So mini review time....

Darkhawk....

Uses the spidy mold, new head, wings, hands and Gauntlets.....

Steve Rogers

New Head sculpt,wepgear...and I think he has the same body has Cyclops.....

My favorite from this wave so far.....

X-23

My second favorite....All new mold, and is the same mold they showed for all the females at SDCC..swivil feet hips.....second favorite fig....

Ultron

Same mold as the comic pack, but with the painted panel lines is better IMO...

Ok so enough of me talking,I'm probably making no sense...I'm just so happy I found these and I saved 20 bucks not getting them from BBTS...So with my LC/IF and my Spidy/CB on there way, besides Nick fury and a few more Skrulls I'm all caught up till the end of OCT.....

Good luck guys in your hunts......

I live in Connecticut. Just checked out my Wal-Mart, and nothing of the recent wave. They did finally have some of the 3-Packs though (Avengers + X-Force). But I'm only looking for the Future Foundation variant 3-Pack.

Embarrassingly, an employee caught me stashing two 30th Anniversary Joes (I was gonna friggin' buy'em tomorrow - I get paid that day). I bought the Hazard Viper though. Funny enough he asked me if I needed anything, I responded "No, I'm fine". He then proceeded to immediately crouch down and pull the Joes from their hiding spots. He never said anything though and I just walked away in despair.

*Sigh* I feel so utterly idiotic now. I know it's unfair to others, but there were about 4-5 of each, so I just thought I'd secure my share - just in case....

Im not a big fan of stashing as I feel as you shouldnt stash them if you dont have the money right then and there as someone else probably does but oh well. I'd recommend taking them to a different section and putting them behind a neglected section that isnt often visited so you dont look like a clown again.

Love that spidey playing with spidey and wolverine shot. He should totally be making a spidey figure dominate green goblin or someone along those lines though! :P

Yeah, I bought mine's a while back, remember myself getting pinched a heck of a lot by the joints - I loved the articulation, but I sold him off at a garage sale when we moved. He was missing his thumb and I hoped that some nice kid may have fun with him.

@omega145: The thing is I usually do go around stashing in entirely different sections. And the only time I actually do it in the same section? Well, look where that got me...I'll probably quit stashing now though, buuuut I can't exactly keep that promise if I come across an X-23 I'm unable to swipe.

You should never hide anything right in the same isle. I def look for hiding spots in the toy isle but nowhere else. I'm tall so I can see if there is anything above the isle. Remember when all of the extra sotck used to be right above the section. If you wanted something you could ask an employee to grab it for you. The girls section would be a great place to start hiding stuff.

Now-a-days if I ask a clerk to get something from the back room or if they even have something in stock the answer is no. Sometimes I get the whole these are collectables BS. If there is nothing on the shelf but year old figs put out new product already.

That whole collector item nonsence does not stop them from selling every single fig or set to the same person as I found out when I asked about new x-men sets when they first hit. They gladly told me one guy cam in right as they were put out and bought them all yet when I try to buy 2 of the same fig (troop builders) they have the right to refuse to sell one to me. Sorry for the rant.
