yeah ebay mostly. got the firehouse and police station as a kid but now think i need that spawn alley set.

dunno the prices but i see the teenage mutant ninja turtles sewer playset, 2 ghostbuster firehouses, the police academy station, spawn alley set, and a few tech deck sets. not to also mention the a-team van.

i hope i get the second sdcc sentinel from my cousin by the end of the year. what a kickass toy.

I got a Ghostbuster firehouse last week for like $35 WITH shipping. just missing the sign and the garage door.

I can't wait to show you guys what I'm doing with it! My sister asked if she could paint it, and so far it looks AWESOME! Whatever she did, it looks like real stone and brick. She has to do a few more coats in a few places, the roof, and then she was going to do a wash on the floor to make it look like a dirty garage floor, and then it'll be done! I got my furniture from Marauders today and put it in, and it looks SWEET... my sister is a doll collector and she's helping me track down some 1:18 scale furniture to put in it, and then I'm looking to get a Maisto diecast car or something to put in the garage with some of those 1:18 scale garage tool sets you see in hobby shops for car dioramas.

SQUUUEEEEE.

Not really. It's gonna be a one-building thing. I just want it to be as fleshed-out as I can make it. I allllways wanted to have an awesome playset for my figures when I was a lil kid, but my parents said that we didn't have storage space for that (there wasn't. I had legos, trains and Hotwheels too...), so I would just have to use my imagination. So I just used styrofoam pieces and stuff (FUN! LOVE STYROFOAM SOOO MUCH! Wish I still had the pieces from the vacuum cleaners...). now that I'm a big kid, I wanna make something epic. And if I do it right, when my sister or I have kids, it'll be available for some more active adventures down the road. but of course, Murphy's Law, my kids will be sports fanatics, play tons of video games and won't want to bother with dad and his action figures. :P

Anyway, I snapped a few pics. Not final layout, but just kinda messing around with the stuff.

Suiting up

Here's a photo of it I found online, shown next to Spawn alley for size. Looks like a decent fit for MU.

Nope, those came from Marauder "Gun-Runners" Home Page. I saw a link here last week and decided I really wanted to purchase some of their stuff. I hope they put out more furniture and non-weapon accessories in the future, because these are AWESOME. They gave me a free gun with removable clips too, and have ridiculously cheap shipping, so I'll definitely be placing another order sometime soon.

My sister has pointed me towards Mattel's newest Polly Pocket incarnation... they're 3 3/4" sized (though cartoony) so we're gonna see how their furniture compares to Joes and MU. If it comes down to it though, I'm sure I could figure out how to make one of those squar-ish leather sofas, flatscreen TV, sidetables and the like... I'm much better at crafting than when I built a dollhouse and furniture in 4th grade, so maybe they'd be decent. I also have Apoxie Sculpt on my team now.

and finally, X-23 with X-Force. I'm working on giving her the foot claw and the other missing team members.
You know what you should do for the Claw Foot, you know the gijoe figures who have something like snowshoes or somthing? A good example is the 25th Anniversary Snakeeyes with winter gear. Heres the shoe.. You take one of those snowshoeish things, shave it properly so it fits her foot well, and then hotglue an extra wolverine claw to it. That way you have an accessory that gives her the foot claw Without Damaging the figure in any way.
