i cant remember cause its been too long, if they were better off before sears took over and raised thier prices. yeah about MU, my local comic shop, which is awesome, thanks to diamond gets new waves later than the big stores. Id buy right from them if they didnt charge..13 bucks a fig......its like a brick and mortar BBTS store. Oh, if anyone needs a colored doctor strange, they might still have a couple, if the weekend sale didnt clear them out. |

Thunderstrike looks great but I think the mace's handle is too short- it looked about twice the length of Mjolnir's (Kirby version) at a guess...so ablut twice as long as you have it. Great custom though! Went to two Ross and one Marshalls today and scored a Whiplash! My "Yeah!" turned to "Why the hell did I buy this crap!?" soon after opening- terrible limited arm articulation, the legs are loose as hell and one of the whips wont go into the arm socket! Also, for no reason, the hair is a puke green instead of brown. Boo. but...I also scored one of the very best figures in modern Marvel IM history- the first movie series Titianium Man! For FOUR. DOLLARS. It's an amazing figure with a crazy amount of articulation and best of all- it's pretty much MU scale for Boris Bulski, the original Titianium Man! Bulski was 12' tall in his armor, so this is pretty damn close- though it's a purely non-canon design, the armor looks great- and will look even better after I repaint it metalic green! Trade ya for an Utimate IM or well..anything. I already have the Constrictor- and all these Whiplash come lately are just knock-offs. The original comics Whiplash was Marc Scarlotti...later BLacklash and later a corpse thanks to a repulsor through the chest. Still...kinda aneat if impractical costume. |

Yea. I hate you all. All you Mandarin, Ultimate Iron Man findin' so and sos! As much as that Whiplash sucks...all his armor and his head are easily removable- you could do a body upgrade easy enough (though he was a flash in the pan charcater from a movie-tie-in limited series, so dont expect to sever see him again!). |
