It's murder when it comes to painting small cracks and faces, but over all it's less then half the surface area to paint/sculpt then a ML figure. for basic paint schemes it's a breeze but for more elaborate work it can be tricky.... a desk lamp with a magnifying lense comes in handy! Great work on the customs, the black really pops and the hints of red are nice and not 2 over-powering.

Very nice custom Jason. Black Knight came out real well. Well I had a fairly good hunting day yesterday. I picked up the latest MU wave along with some Capcom friends. I swapped out Magneto's hands with the SW Magneto because of the open palm hands. I can't find a figure that has an open right hand though. These finally showed up at TRU. Now I have my Capcom figures to go with Marvel vs. Capcom Colossus VS Blanka Colossus doing his crappy super from MvC2 Sagat joining the Fray. Can't wait to get Bison and Akuma. |

I'm going to start a thread over in the "Customs Completed" forum so he'll see it -I dont think he frequents this thread, as customs are his thing. Gotta take pics of my Nick Fury custom now- an easy but great looking Red Star head with eyepatch and repaint makes that Sam Jackson IM2 Fury body really look great for the real NIck Fury! |
