Most people who says they don't like him end up actually liking him a lot. I'm still thinking about pulling the trigger my self on another one just to open up and see.

That wolverine is just so epic. I can't wait for beast to be out to finally be near a complete Astonishing X-Men team. Now if only Emma Frost was slated somewhere.

I think they're afraid because of what happened with the Emma Legends figure. I see those things still being sold EVERYWHERE.

That's one of the reasons I'm hoping she's in the line for the new wolverine movie. Plus it'd parallel the astonishing cyclops release in that last time. Since it'll be another movie line they won't expect to last more than a year, the risk is less. Plus it'd let them have the mold fodder for a comic pack or multipack.

I'm hoping for that, but knowing hasbro it might end up being a Comic pack with astonishing cyclops. The normal form of her sold well enough in legends, but the diamond form is like peg warming poison. Hopefully that's changed with her usage in the movies and the Wolverine and The X-Men toon.

Found a set of the Astonishing Wolverine wave at WM last night. Interestingly, the back of the Absorbing Man package shows the metal skin variant. Now, as far as I know, the pic on the back has always been of the reg version when it comes to variants... ex: Havok, Archangel, Dr. Strange. It would be cool if the metal skin one is actually the reg, while the normal skin one is the variant.
