so I am going to add the scar to Dooms face using the steve rogers headsculpt,should I use a flat red or mix with some flesh tone?

Well, if you really want, take an exacto knife and make a light scar and put some light flesh tone/brown over it

yeah I was thinking about making a slit for the paint to pool in so as not to rub off with contact but you suggest flesh tone with some brown?

I happen to like both those Ares. If I HAD to give the edge to one it would be to the second one. Especially cuz he doesnt have that soft good on top his helmet.

The hair is actually more realistic on the one that I have instead of being molded hair but like I said, that other Ares is very nice and impressive.
Im sure eventually there will be a MU Ares made, just be patient for all those waiting for him.

Nice job on the collection. I love finding out what the 'almost complete' guys need, since I'm so far from that. Now I know what to nab at LCS' if I see them!

I agree.. the one with the "real" hair looks like someone scalped on of those Troll dolls and elmer's glued it to his helmet.. the molded hair is actually more effective IMO.

You can laugh at me,.. I'm not very sensitive.

I know of Ares, but don't know anything about the character. I'm more of a mainstream superhero fan, but I've been expanding a bit as I've got more into collecting.

I just dont like soft goods for things like hair. It makes them hard to manage and lets face it this is a comic character and in comics hair is pretty set. It doesn't move around exactly realistic

Agreed. It would just make him glaringly stand out in any sort of display and not ina. Good way.
