				 | Quote: im sure we will get a single carded sinister at some point when hasbro needs a wave filler...which i find even more annoying. buying a two pack for a figure then getting it a few months later single >=[ you really cant win either way unless you are prepared to wait and place bets on a release lol |

				 | Quote: Swapped the head, hands, and legs. The belt is easy to take off: just remove his legs and pull the belt off. But some snipping had to be done on the belt since Moon Knight is now on a skinnier body. After adjusting the belt to the right size I just super glued the belt back together and voila. Solidwii, I have indeed thought of making a cloak and dagger- useing X-23's body and a marian from the Indy line...the thing is, I dot like cloth capes, so i was looking around for something in plastic or rubber that I could cut down.. What applies from the old Toybiz figures? |

Man there are some talented folks on the ark. I wish i had any kind of patience and skill to make some customs, I have exactly zero artistic ability.

Gotta start somewhere. If you have the drive to do it, i'd start off with some of the repeat or double figures you may have (wolverine, absorbing man, etc). There are a lot of good resources here.

What applies from the old Toybiz figures? That's why I only do headswaps. They are easy and don't require paint.

ok so i ended up perusing through ebay and ended up looking at loose tiny Super Hero Squad figs. It blew my mind that theres so many more obscure characters in that line than the line that collectors actually collect.

				 | Quote: I was thinkning of a Multiple Man body (the skinny buck) and maybe useing a Stalker head for him- I'd have to sand off Stalker's beret, but that's no biggie- and the cloak should cover the rest -maybe paint on some cornrows or someting. ...but damn, Stalker is too amazing of a fig to use for parts! Alot of people use the Stalker body as a base for their customs. It makes it easier to paint than the Snake Eyes body.

I've got a hood I made with a Zartan hood and some custom sculpting that I'll use. I just need a decent black guy head that isn't Cage or B.A. or something. Maybe I could just paint Zartan's head and see if that works.

Found this on a search for a reference pic of General America (another custom my sister asked for) and found this. Concept of The Punisher as a 'dark' Captain America. I bet I could make this with a reactive armor Duke... would be a cool Marvel 4", no!?

That's pretty cool. But I like that concept sketch better. I'm a sucker for armor. And I'm not a fan of straps and belts.
