Agreed, or making them a 2 pack from a single card, like Colossus and Juggernaut.

Really inspirational and I did not know which fig to use for MK's body before- as much as your's rocks, I'm going with the new Steve Rogers- I'm going with the armored Moonie so he'll have guns...I may take his staff and cut part of it off to make it look "collapsed down" and hanging from his belt.

Solidwii, I have indeed thought of making a cloak and dagger- useing X-23's body and a marian from the Indy line...the thing is, I dot like cloth capes, so i was looking around for something in plastic or rubber that I could cut down..

What applies from the old Toybiz figures?

Man there are some talented folks on the ark. I wish i had any kind of patience and skill to make some customs, I have exactly zero artistic ability.

Gotta start somewhere. If you have the drive to do it, i'd start off with some of the repeat or double figures you may have (wolverine, absorbing man, etc). There are a lot of good resources here.

That X-23 body would look nice and better poseability too! Cloak would seem like kinda easy since the body is mostly black. Maybe the Darkhawk body since it has darkblue and some highlights?

That's why I only do headswaps. They are easy and don't require paint.

Ooh, I like that. And Steve's body is a good base.

ok so i ended up perusing through ebay and ended up looking at loose tiny Super Hero Squad figs. It blew my mind that theres so many more obscure characters in that line than the line that collectors actually collect.

What about those Assasin's Creed figures at target? They have a couple hooded guys right?

I need to wrap up my Dr.Doom and Ultimate Iron Man this weekend.

I picked up an extra Steve Rogers for the head alone for a new custom. Now I want to make a Moon Knight with the body. Great call guys!

I was thinkning of a Multiple Man body (the skinny buck) and maybe useing a Stalker head for him- I'd have to sand off Stalker's beret, but that's no biggie- and the cloak should cover the rest -maybe paint on some cornrows or someting.
...but damn, Stalker is too amazing of a fig to use for parts!

That would work..yeah I agree the figure is amazing. You won't have to paint much on the head if you do that. I always imagined Cloak having alot of cloth going everywhere like the Spawn cape.

Alot of people use the Stalker body as a base for their customs. It makes it easier to paint than the Snake Eyes body.

How about grabbing a Star Wars Saga series Mace Windu. Basically you won't see anything but the nose down for Cloak right? No one would tell it's Sam Jackson.

Solve for X
(Regular figure - Cost) + (primary Figure + minor figure) = x

Smaller Figure + 2pack = x

x = Superhero Squad

I've got a hood I made with a Zartan hood and some custom sculpting that I'll use. I just need a decent black guy head that isn't Cage or B.A. or something. Maybe I could just paint Zartan's head and see if that works.

It's only boring if you don't play with your toys...lol.

I have barely even opened up any new figs I bought.

Found this on a search for a reference pic of General America (another custom my sister asked for) and found this. Concept of The Punisher as a 'dark' Captain America. I bet I could make this with a reactive armor Duke... would be a cool Marvel 4", no!?

That's pretty cool. But I like that concept sketch better. I'm a sucker for armor. And I'm not a fan of straps and belts.
