| Quote: Upon further inspection of my fodder, I may go with a multiple man body with a silver surfer head cast I made. And falcons wings aren't that bad afterall..... I think in the case of Mysterio a marble might be the way to go. I was thinking of using one of those gumball machine containers,( small variety) but by the time its trimmed it wont look as accurate. DR.Strange cape would probably be the way to go...mabey even Moon Knight. I remember Mysterio being a little thicker in the chest. Perhaps a pegwarming Wrecker body? Yeah Mysterio did have a good physique. I just didn't want too much "buffness" and definition for my S6 crew. You know, sticking with a more classics/early feel. I originally thought of the gumball acorns as well, and like you concluded after trimming it wouldn't be right. For Doc Ock I'm using some AIM soldier parts, a DC Guy Gardner Green Lantern head (I'll sculpt the glasses) and these for the tentacles: USB LED LIGHT for NOTEBOOK/PC goose neck / snake FT307 | eBay should turn out well. |

Someone mentioned using a Dr. Rex head for vulture. The only thing holding me back from painting Falcon all green is the lack of that feathery thing Vulture wears around his neck. As far as Mysterio goes, there were a few pack ins in the Spidey line that looked like they might make a decent Mysterio, but the rest of his costume was way too involved for me to feel comfortable customizing. I'm holding out hope he shows up in a Spidey line next year. |

I actually bought one just for the hair for my MU "Velveeta cheesy skillets blacksmith" custom. |

I think I will actually pick up a second Doc to give the legs some more height and probably Adhere his tentacles to get rid of that awful chest piece.

Sweet, I needed the motivization! Looks great. I agree ditching the harness will improve it big time. Or at least minimize it to vintage Octavius proportions.

Those big, dirty, retro robot things (Pardon me for not knowing the proper term) are really freaking badass.

You could use one of those neck pieces from the gi joe figure "Snow Serpent" perhaps? You'd just have to trim off the shoulder pieces.
