Marvel 3.75" Appreciation Thread

picked up FF #12 yesterday and man the art sucks,since they switched over to 2 running series at the same time the better artist obviously went over to the continuation of FF #600 while they put the future foundation series in the backseat,it sucks being the last 11 issues were great art wise and now they just switch and make it suck,a big wtf again marvel...*sigh*

Anyone think the Shocker 3.75 will hit stores in the US or have any news of this? hasbro has mentioned nothing about this figure...why would it stay in canada? makes no sense

any insight guys?

I hear you on it making no sense but there is a small chance being ss venom showed up here.

I think the only way Shocker doesn't hit US soil is if they cancel the Spidey line.

I'm actually pretty impressed with that Shocker, I definitely want to grab one.

I was thinking about making a classic Scorpion, do you think Bullseye's head would look good for him?

That sucks! I hate looking through Wolverine and the X-Men with CB's artwork, but enjoying the reading of it. Ugh. I hope they change him out soon. All the other X-Titles have great and decent artwork but not his.

He almost does look like the SDCC 2010 Ages version which is great!

I hear you..some people love his stuff..but I could pass. There are some panels that I literally can't tell what's supposed happening.

Thank you, I'm so glad I'm not the only one whining about his work. Hopefully he gets switched real fast. When I first saw him on Generation Next, it was tolerable for some reason, but now I'm like "No!!!"

Who on here loves his stuff please explain it to me.

this line has really impressed me in the brief time i've been collecting, looking forward to getting the Age of Thunder Thor and the new Hulk most. Still waiting on my Captain America and series 1 Hulk but so far i've been very impressed

Wow. I thought your pictures were nice before! I really love that first one most, you've got the latest revision wave with Iron Fist and Electro (weird that the Electro isn't transparent at all, and does that Iron Fist packaging look different from the original to anyone else? We're going to have to start examining these revision pack cards more closely), then you have Iron Man The Armored Avenger figures (which we don't see here in town yet), and finally #13 and #14 of the Thor figures, indicating that you get all the latest waves of those as well. If they weren't US $15 each, you guys would have it made in the hunting department! I wonder how much shipping from Singapore is...

It is canceled, but US stores are still getting cases. So after the shocker wave, or the wave after that, there will be no more. It'll all be rebranded and redone for when the spidey movie hits theaters. Expect stores to clearance it out then.

Got my Ages of Thor SDCC 2010 and Captain America SDCC (courtesy of AndyCR), a bit disappointed that they weren't boxed up like Compound Hulk. But overall great looking figures.

Might be like that Mandarin wave of IM2, won't show anywhere than appear at discounters for 5 bucks. I can live with that.

I thought of that but it's a tad small- I was thinkning of a Piledriver for Scorpion's head- he's got a nice sneer going.

Bullseye looks like crazy Norman Osborn and I almost bought him for that custom idea...but restrained myself. too damn many projects to keep adding to the pile just now

As to Shocker...he's a GREAT sculpt but really lacks articulation- my gripe with all the Spidey villians!
