I'm gonna try heating it up with a hair dryer and clamping it closed, see if that works before breaking out the heavy artillery. I'm gonna do the same with my SpiderMan series Rhino.

I'll follow your lead if my first plan doesn't cut it.

Everyone is doing epic awsome customs. I got to start a new one. I have been thinking of making Ares: God of War from his mini series back in 2006. Gladiator head with shaved down Mohawk and lots and lots of G.I Joe bits. Not sure if I should use MU body, or a larger G.I Joe body. Decisions Decisions...

A RoC Heavy Duty body might be big enough. Very barrel chested but with defined arms.

I was watching the latest X-Men anime and got an idea for a display pose. Classic scene between Wolverine and Cyclops and I don't know why it took me this long to do it.

X-Men Schism

and I finally buckled and bought a Guardians of the Galaxy set. Now i gotta setup a Thanos vs. Drax fight scene.

Yeah looking at it, the arms aren't as defined as I remember. Maybe some Thor arms? I was gonna suggest Toxic Blast Venom's arms, but then the painting thing again......LOL.

I'm actually using TB Venom as the base for my Ares now......

I appreciate that someone in Iowa just found the Thanos/Warlock two-pack at their TRU. It didn't ring up, so it probably shouldn't have been on the floor yet, but that still means we'll see it soon!

I actually used Multiple Man for the base. I melted Falcons wings into the forearms with a soldering iron. I intended to use XMO Sabrethooth hands (can't find my spare) but used Absorbing Mans hands (oversized on the body semi claw like) and repainted Absorbing Mans head.

And some miliput for the feathery neck stuff.

If you don't mind the sleves, that looks like a Crossbones body to me.

My friend said the same thing. We decided against it however. I will be using Crossbones vest though because, lets face it, it is perfect. My buddy has a spare one of these guys:

I am not sure if nail polish remover will be able to get rid of that tattoo though, it should. That head I can also use for my Thunderstrike custom!!
