I wouldn't bother with the domestic version of Mothra Prime, let alone an imported non-screen repaint.

That Dragon Ult Prime has to be the dumbest looking TF toy I've seen in a real long time.

...vs all of the other big rigs that turn into a robot?

sorry.. dont see the transformer draw. What makes this truck any more ridiculous than all of the others?

Im guessing the dragon on the side.. that does seem over the top! (maybe the dragon gun?)

If you aren't into TF's, then there's no point in getting into it really,.. I'm not about to try and talk someone into liking something they don't like.. that's for TFW2005 babies to do.

However, coming from a TF fan I can tell you that the robot mode looks really bad to me. Did Prime join the X-Men (that would explain why Ult Prime was posted in a Marvel thread)? Why does the trailer unfold into a giant X on his back? Is he a super antennae too? And the articulation sucks, which is one thing the movie lines are pretty good for. Just a crappy version of a toy (prime w/trailer) that we all were looking forward to. Thank God for that upcoming Deluxe version.

I'm (gasp*) 41! I'd love to see some GoBot Homages in the TF line.

I'm working on a custom GoBot DiveDive now.

On topic, Bought a few Terminator T-R.I.P. and T-700s from Dollar Tree for a buck each, sweet. Gonna buy a few Dr. Dooms while they are $6.99 at Target and make a few "blowed up" Doombots........

I came from being a big TF man... I am sick of the slumps for them. I picked up a few Prime figures, "played" with them and returned them after a week. I have so many movie verse I want to unload. I'm sticking to human alliance for now... I am a big fan of shellformers but they remind me of MASK a lot.

ok so, being out of school for winter break i wanted to work on some display projects for MU. First being a prototype for an iron man armory, constructed out of a soda can and a 2 dollar LED light. I always wanted something like this when i was a kid watching the 90s animated series.

I've been selling off my movie collection (first movie and RoTF) for a year now.. and just yesterday sold a lot of 25 figures... they were fun for a while, but I always go back to my Classics collection when it comes to displaying them.

The only movie TF's I have out are Buster Prime & HA Barricade... both display staples for me. Leader Starscream is damn close.

looks great so far! If i remember correctly, you're making a whole armored suit display? I'd like to see that. Makes me want a hall of armor as well. I saw somebody on here make one out of legos. I think i'd do that, or something. I just realized I have too many iron man figures. It would free up some shelf space and look cool in the process

i got a 3 pack of led lights for 6 bucks, so ill make at least two more for now. My other project is to make a 3d background of the gates to avengers mansion(iron gate with avengers logo on top and some length of brick wall with a top so spidey or someone else can sit on top) so i can pose my 20 some-odd avengers in front of it.

K. It's not the real deal, here's what the store owner wrote back.
"Hi sorry for the confusion it is the regular version this is a problem that we are trying to correct with amazon the yellow one is a one of a kind prototype that is $80. The one we have for sale is the reuglar version. thanks"

I thought the prime toys were cool, at first... My display just consists of classics right now. Wouldn't mind displaying RoTF Prime and Starscream, and the HA ones. But we just moved into our house this past summer and I have limited display space until our renovations are done.

I might also add that the paint job didn't look horribly great to begin with. But if it WAS $8 I can see why you, and others would want it. But you said it best, $80 for a paint job. Who would pay that?

the other one went for $60. Some people are just that in to customs and either don't have the skill to do one themselves or are too lazy :/ You should see how much his others go for.
He did this one for me. And I didn't pay hardly a fraction of that

Whoa you have in "In" with him Very nice! He's def. a great customizer especially with the artwork on the cards. Painting the figure is one thing, but the cards are even more great work.

Merry Christmas to me. BBTS order shipped and received. I'm a happy camper.

My review so far: the cards are so crap. Box art with deadpool comments are sweet except I'm not digging psylocke's that much, good figures but no new mold usage is bs. I hope they bring back the stands.
