ok guys, here is a project ive been meaning to do for a long time. Its the front gates to the avengers mansion. I built it from scratch because I wanted to get the proportions right. That, and I wanted the front gates to be able swing open.

thanks man! I figure since we have so many avengers available to us, might as well give some appreciation. I wish i could have found a way to swap logos with an X......

I just posted a review of Wave 17 to my buddy's blog that I'm now writing for. Go check it out and let us know what you think of the site. We've got several people writing now, doing reviews for several different action figure lines, and even non-action figure stuff.

Though it looks nothing like Harrison Ford, that's the most recent ESB Han Solo figure's head.

Yesterday I bought three cheap Heroclix for their pretty flame parts- two Extremis Iron Mans and one Titianium Man...I cut off their glowy bits and stuck them on the IM2 Titianium Man for this massive improvment...



Now all I need is to stick him on a flight stand...and my villians get another flyer for their team!

Thanks- I thought of doing it to the bleeding-edge Iron Man but that fig pisses me off- it's an incredible sculpt that's maybe 8% too damn small! Iron Man should never be smaler than Spider-Man!

Did anyone else notice that Astral Dr. Strange has a clear stand too? To my knowledge no other figure has come with a stand that wasn't solid black.
