Interesting. I opened mine up to send out to one of my Canadian friends, and realized that it was clear. I can't believe I didn't notice that before, and it looks cool in hand. It gives the figure more character too.

Yeah- I've spoken of it a few times- how cool is that? He's the only fig that will ever have a clear stand- one more reason he'll be sought after in years to come!

Yeah, well, I decided to part ways with mine. When I bought it I had found it in the wild along with another, and bought them both. The other one was a gift for my best friend (he has two walls of his apartment dedicated to MU).

Well, I've seen color Vision gor for $75 on ebay- and that body sucks. Doctor Strange is an incredible figure- and the astral version is even cooler- love them silver eyes, man! Really though, if Darkhawk happens, that'll be the crazy rare one! |

				 | Quote: I just posted a review of Wave 17 to my buddy's blog that I'm now writing for. Go check it out and let us know what you think of the site. We've got several people writing now, doing reviews for several different action figure lines, and even non-action figure stuff. One Per Case: Marvel Universe - Wave 17 (or, Attack of the Repaints) |

That was nice review- I never had that SDCC AoT Thor and was suprised at how corpse-y his skin looks! The new version's fleshtone is far superior!

True on the skin tone, but I still prefer the SDCC because of the darker colors on his costume. IMO of course =)

I also just read the review, well done and I do agree with what you said, I think we're all on the same boat the reusing molds and repaints are great if they're done well, if you reuse everything old and make no effort to improve then it's not really a great quality of a toy company.

What's with that SDCC hammer anyway? Smooth and black?!? Damn strange. That new Thor is worth buying though- get him and an extra Sub Mariner and you'll be aloincloth and knife away from Ka-Zar! Just get one of those PVS smilodons you see at Michaels and you're rockin' the Savage Land! Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 01-01-2012 at 10:26 PM.. |

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed the review. My review of the new comic packs will be up tomorrow morning as well. I still prefer the SDCC AoT Thor over the new release, but yeah, I didn't notice how corpse-y the paint wash made him look until I stood him next to the new version. It's like Zombie Thor. |

Silver Surfer from TRU? What the heck?!? Where'd that one come from? The latest one I saw didn't have translucent arms anymore. Maybe they're going back? |

I don't have any more room for pegboard :/ This is what part of my room looked like a few months ago: My extra MU's look like evil's set up. I've got to take some updated pics.
