Someone else has been seeing these older SW two packs pop up.. weird.. maybe they put out some revision stuff.

I just wish they'd put out the Hulk one, the Hawkeye one, and the Magneto one again.

They were covered in dust and the packaging was kind of crap, so I'm thinking they've been around for a while. I would not mind finding some of them if they send more out though.

Yup he drew Emma Frost and Mystique a few years back, great artwork.

Ha ha...maybe :P Can't wait for the Dr. Doom one to come out. Basically the same mold as the regular one minus mask. I picked up the regular than checked it against the exclusive one and thought ok the exclusive one is a lot better.

Just hit Target and TRU- neither has restocked since Christmas.

Still no sightings of Wave 17 in south Florida that I know of.

Ar TRU, I was looking at the Avengers figs on the light up stands and notice that Thor is the same as the Dollar General (bright cape, dark tunic) variant but with a normal hammer.
Wonder if it's a running change or if the Dollar store version was an over-run from the TRU batch or what.

How is it in any way bettter? It's the same Doom body with a closed holster as the carded version, only with an unmodified Steve Rogers head (hair painted brown).
I could make that in five minutes, if I thought the head looked anythig like Doom at all.

Really, check out Secret wars or Children's Crusade- Doom looks exactly nothing like that head.

That's true...IMO it's the card as well, not just the figure itself.

Ah. I see.
I was really shocked at the suckness of this send away- particularly when they could have had all our money by making Beta Ray Bill the send away...or Black Knight. Or anyone, for fuck's sake.

Whatever- better for us to keep the good stuff on the pegs and the crap as $60 exclusives.

Ha ha too true!!! I know I think Nick and Archangel were the best, Arch my favorite. They're doing a Beta Ray Bill already he's supposed to be released in spring time I believe.

My guess... Marvel has a 20% off coupon floating around that lets you get the subscription for $47.90... $5.17 shipping and you are at $53.07... so if he trades that and gets $40... he just spent $13.07 for an X-Force Archangel AND a years worth of digital comics...

Yeah, Bill is hitting retail!
Nick was, frankly, awful. He came with a shitton of extras as sorta an apology.
I had to make a custom to do him justice.

Archangel was great looking but it should have been the retail variant instead of that weak-ass Deathmask/no wings ripoff. The send away should have been the Deathmask with full wings and the other 'backpack" wings included. That would have gotten people interested, as you cant make that yourself with paint.

Doom...well, I screamed "FAKE!" when new members first linked pics- it looked so poorly home-made. And the Infinity Gauntlet looked like Lion O's shield from the new lameass figs.
The joke was on me- it was too fake looking to be fake, I guess.

But the sad part is a ton of collectors are going to buy it anyways, cause hasbro is toying with their OCD.

My OCD stops at $60 for a 4 inch figure. I got the Nick Fury to try out the digital comics but it was not worth it. And that was when they only wanted a 3 month commitement for like $30. I just hope the overseas sellers who get Doom get the gauntlet too.

Unless you're a MOC kinda guy, the Doom fig is pointless.

Just bought a new Randy Orton 6" fig with O-Ring and swivel legs to make into a Masters of Evil Goliath.
It's actually really nice- it has all the articulation points of a new MU fig even rocker ankles, and it has wrist articulation so it's a total win!
A pefect buck for customizing bigger characters like Frost Giants, Master of Evil Goliath, kree Sentry, Growing Man or the In-Betweener!

Washing it now to get it paint-ready.

Pics soon, I hope!

Actually you have to "pay full price" for the digital subscription, if not they won't give you the figure. I did that once, I didn't qualify.

Yup that's me "MOC" and I agree would be pointless if you toss the card.
