My Birthday was just about 2 weeks ago now but thanks :P I'm now hunting down the Thanos/Adam Warlock set as I've finally started reading Guardians of the Galaxy and it's fantastic!!! So many characters I want as action figures now >.<
Edit: Damn I didn't add Lizard and Scorpion to the photo... Oh well, I'm planning some pictures so you'll see them eventually. :P

I think the face mold is indeed better but I plan to do some heavy tweaking on him too. The first thing is to replace the coat. I don't like it. |

The same thing happened to me. The moment I started looking more into rocket racoon and drax, I jumped on getting that pack. I finally got the new thanos/warlock and sinister/gambit packs. Whoohooo.

Only other thing he's got that I'm slightly interested in is the Future Foundation set, but then again I'm not a fan of Reed Richards Sue Storm or Herbie, and I already have the Thing and Johnny storm so... not gonna jump on that one! I also want Darkhawk and I've not seen that wave at all! I've been waiting for a decent wolverine to show up too, I know the astonishing one exists but I can't see him anywhere... and it's just downright depressing... :/

MU seems to have dried up in my area. I can't find any new figures and I hardly EVER see the comic packs. My local comic store has a load of old ones that nobody has bought, including spider-man and sentry, wolverine and silver samurai and thor and iron man. The Deadpool/Taskmaster ones did disappear pretty rapidly though!

I'm having trouble uploading pics from my shit ass cell phone, but keep your head's up at Ross.
I saw Thor Deluxe Frost Giants and that Thor with the backpack missiles for $4.99. Good time to troop build and give Iceman some ice blasts. They also had the Cap A Justice Jet for only $9.991 I may have to go back and grab that! And finally an oddball, At Marshalls I saw a 3 3/4 Thundercats Mumm-Ra figure for $4.99! Are they doing that bad that they are already being clearanced? If my cell camera decides to work I'll post the pics. |

Ice blasts for Iceman sound like a good idea! I'd never buy those runty losers otherwise- the "giants" while cool in the movie, just dont measure up to the giant MU version- they're like a bunch of cosplay kids next to the big one!

This is me all the way. I'd say only about 20% of my shopping/hunting is for my collection. The rest is the ongoing fodder hunt! I see cool figures on clearance and I'll stare at them for a good few minutes thinking"....and I could use the legs for XXXX, the head would make a great XXXX, Ooooh! With a bit of modding those weapons could be XXXX!...." |

I spent a bug chunk of today trying to re-arrange my stuff so I can get more done but managed to just turn it into a disaster...gotta fix the rest tomorrow! Great idea on the Frost Giant feet- some guy at Figure realm too that lame Jim Lee Wolverine fig and made him into classic Beast- and the only thing off was the feet! I think he used Venom as the base fig. Damn! Now I need that crappy Wolverine figure! Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 01-07-2012 at 10:00 PM.. |

Man I do that with models- I start getting parts and greebles for a kit and suddenly it's months later and I have four times as many parts as I could possibly use!

Some of the best talent I have ever ever seen is there too! Man, between their Gallery and Figure Realm, you can spend a whole day looking at cool stuff! Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 01-07-2012 at 10:12 PM.. |

For sure, I'm there. I started joining in on their HoverTankChallenge but got sidetracked with commissions. I never have time to build "my own" customs anymore, hah!

Everyone already echoed my advice for you on this, but I gotta ask what you're customizing with that hair? I almost bought an extra Spider-Woman just for her lovely hair! Man...that's when you know the MU customizing this is outta hand- when you're looking at parts with no particular custom in mind!

Yeah, I'm tere too- no sightings of that wave in South Florida that I've heard of...and the hunting has been discouraging lately.
odd, normally we get the new waves pretty quickly at retail...but like everyone else, I have not seen the new comic packs in stores, though I managed to get those from BBTS. THey have STILL not sent out my preorder for Storm and Psylocke and i just bought a Giant Size boxset Storm on ebay instead. I think she looks better there anyway, really- that hobgoblin cape on the new one is not as cool as the old "flying squirrell" cape. |

Unfortunately eventhough the squirrel cape is cool , it restricts her arm movement. I still prefer they would have release the white jim lee costume Storm or is it silver??

I think it was shiney white- not exactly practical to make her a giant flying target that way, but it ws the 90's- at least they did not give her a bunch of pouches and a big squared off gun like everyone else!
