I have a question to my fellow arkers who sell here on the boards, I usually don't ship outside the U.S. b/c it taking so long to get to it's destination and all the other horror stories....I guess what I'm asking is if was to ship from the U.S. to Canada what would be the best method and carrier. I hate telling people that I don't want to sell to them just b/c of where they are located as I don't feel they should be punished for such a thing.

i agree with you guys... i only had an issue once with a Canadian trader that had to wait a long, long time for his package to arrive. we almost gave up on the deal and then one day the package arrived. he had to pay some fees at customs (?) i recall. something about new merchandise - since i sent him a few MOC's.

other than that small horror story, trading/selling to Canuck's has never been a big deal. sure they talk funny, but they're chill.

plus they got all kinds of SM Shocker's. haha. (which i still need one, btw.)

Unless the package is very large, it'll actually be a little cheaper shipping to Canada as opposed to within the US because you can't purchase delivery confirmation.

I'm at the point where the things I need/want are typically $100+ items so it'll be picking and choicing what to buy/collect.

I order quite frequently from US sellers, typically the shipping costs are less then if I were to order from a Canadian seller, and delivery time may take 1-2 weeks extra but worth the wait IMO, Shipping from Canada to us can be pricey though as they only allow expediate and rushed both come with tracking #s and insurance which doesn't hurt, but is typically more expensive. Example, I shipped a complete baf Apocalypse figure tto Miketime in the us, cost me nearly $30 to ship, sending a MU sentinel box full of toys to boyblue, box weighed 6kg! in canada cost me only $16! Aside from shipping time delays and the exchange rate factor, trading with us is almost identical to trading with your US arkers. And most buyers are fine waiting the extra time, hell it's nothing compaired to buying from uk, or hong kong/China.

as for Dogfashiondisco's inquiry, have yet to recieve your package, should come sometime this week, however my flight stands won't be coming for probably 2-3 weeks, so pics of him will be a bit delayed, but when the 2 arrive I will take pics, sweet, glorious pics.

Nothing in Aventura, Hallendale or Fort Lauderdale either- no Wave 17 or Avengers.
Target in Aventura was completely utterly wiped out of all carded MU figures- they have FOUR empty pegs!
I suspected Scalpers, but no- an employee said they've been backordered for a while.

The lack of Wave 17 may be a Hasbro thing...or some shipping thing from overseas.

I have bought tons of tons of MU from the States on Ebay, mostly ship with USPS. I never have any item lose in the mail so far...

I've shipped to Canadian arkers and i hate them cuz they STANK!!!

Just kidding, aside from the extra form you have to fill out for customs, it really isn't that big of a deal.

I kind of want the Osborn one to toss onto Green Goblin. Then get an extra head and heat the sucker up and stretch it out to make it look like he is holding onto his GG. Mask.

I've done trades and bought stuff on ebay. It takes a little longer to get stuff and takes a little longer for you guys to receive. Other than that no issues. On a side note though make sure to get a tracking number, if not, you'll definitely regret it. It will take FOREVER to get to its destination.

I have never had an issue receiving anything from the states. Not sure if it is my location or pure luck but I have done at least 50 transactions through ebay and here from the US and no problems at all.

the united states post office has worked fine for me when shipping to canada, i've also shipped to the United kingdom with the post office. No problems, and pretty cheep considering the distance it travels.
