I forget which thread I posted it in last week, but the package of 3 of those Stage Act 3 stands I bought from one of those Chinese eBay sellers ($5 a stand) turned out to be a cheap ko Transformers Devastator set..



..at least they were close. NOT! I contacted the seller (xuehui_cn4) to see if he'd take care of me, but he replied with some jibberish about having me ship the hands to the US. I'm not sure what he was trying to say, but that's what he asked of me. I replied to that saying that I don't know what he's saying to me, I'm in the US, and just wanted my stands without worrying about his other screw-ups. So that's done. Anyone want a ko G1 Dev set?? PM me.

I lost $15, no big deal.. lesson learned. I waited 2 weeks for that, all to save $6. Dumb. So, bummed that I didn't get the stands I've been eagerly awaiting for, I decided to buy some from a normal store, so I went to ToyArena and bought a pack of the Stage "4" stands for $21 (a pack is a full set of 3 stands) shipped last Friday. They arrived yesterday. Not only did they arrive yesterday, but they also sent me a pack (seperate shipment) of Stage "5" stands for some reason.. warehouse error I guess. So after all of that I ended up getting three free stands from one place after I coincidentally bought them elsewhere and never received them. So basically I ended up with a free ko Devastator out of this. Pretty weird.

Anyway, the Stage "5" stands work just as well, if not a little better. Their base is a little bit larger, but not by much, so that's the only negative. They probably can support a little more weight because the arm that connects to the base is a little more sturdy and has a ratchet type mechanism in it. Both stands are kick-ass, but the Stage 5's seemed to be easier to come by (when I was looking at least),.. and they're a $1-$2 cheaper per pack. I never did get a Stage "3" stand to have a comparison, but the Stage "4" stands look the same to me.

flight stands snafu is disconcerting.

hmm. for some reason, in some shots, they look better than others. im just wondering if when displayed they give off that 'oh look a plastic thing holding up your toys' vibe - thus taking away from the flight/hovering intended effect.

maybe its just me.

Thanks, I know what you mean, there's actually a $400 statue of him DP on the same red scooter, with tons of weapons on his back. I've seen 1:18th scale red scooters online for like $20 and thought of getting 1 lol.

Yeah, that's the guy or gal that sent me a ko transformers set instead of the 3 stands I purchased. For only a few bucks more you can get brand new/unopened ones from real stores with receipts and what not.

Buy that Daredevil-Bullseye comic pack asap. It's the best comic pack released and the quality of the new figures is amazing. I'm not a massive fan of Bullseye but this guy is always at the front of my shelf. They pose up so well!
