Is the variant Galactus that hard to find? My LCS has one for $99, i'm happy with the regular one though especially since that Silver Surfer fits my Defenders well. He's got those sunken in eyes like how he was drawn in Defenders Vol. 2 (which i'm team building).

Honestly about to scrap the Omega Red and get Black Panther from you and maybe something else that is fairly simple for the comic pack :P.

Agreed. He's the best there is. Maybe they'll put out another Gigantic Battles or a Masterpiece of him? Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: That means it was priced well! First person to look said, "Oh hell yes!" |

				 | Quote: Thanks- just a headswap, some spikes and paint- I love that Air Assualt Drone for a more badass Ultron body. I'm thinking of making a Grevius body Ultron- something all silver...maybe with Ultron's "ears" removed like Dinofreak's great custom there- it sure changes his look to do that! I think a four armed Ultron would be badass! DINOFREAK- what are the things on that Ultron's back!?! WE DEMAND ADDITIONAL PICS! Promise to take more pics tomorrow, I was thinking of some kind of nuclear cooling system like the Nuclear Eva from Evangelion. I will send pics tomorrow!

				 | Quote: I seriously love that those figures were released this way. It is so epically impractical that it instantly became awesome. Card/bubble packaging is really iconic and to see a company go that extra mile to put out giant, ridiculous figures in equally ridiculous packaging is fucking admirable. I have a lot of negative feelings toward Hasbro for cutting corners (constantly) but this is a step in the right direction to represent a conscience understanding of why toys/characters are so important in our lives. Nostalgia and quality, that is what keeps this habit going. Just wondering though if you don't make it to the comic con, are you able to get the figures online without paying an arm and a leg for them? Quote: |

I wish I had the wall space for that:P They're tucked away in their boxes... |

I could see the MU Galactus as an improvement over the MU version, due to the added height, overall size and weight and the voice action, but I find the facesculpt better on the ML version and the articulation is better. I don't agree on the ML sentinels being the lesser of the 2, they're bigger yes and have voice and sound features, but that's it, articulation is ok to say the least, there's no robotic tentacles for the hands or atleast lit up repulsar hands, and unless you spring for the cc version or the variant the colors aren't that's flattering especially to an old school guy like me who prefers traditional colors. The ML figure is very detailed and well painted and looks more evil and realistic IMO, plus the bendable tenticles allow for MU figures to hang or climb on, kinda neat add on that the MU version doesn't have. Also because it's a baf, you can dismantle them and have yourself a sentinel graveyard for some epic fight pics/dioramas. just sayin. Plus for someone who's getting into army building sentinels are about tops on the list for most expensive but most impressive to do.

MU Galactus is definitely the superior of the 2 between his MU and ML, but ML Sentinel is definitely far superior to the MU one. Detail, articulation and weapons really help sell it. Though really, if you can't afford the ML BAF sentinel or many of them, the MU one is nice and makes for a nice fleet to go with the BAF one as the lead. |
