Except for G.I.Joe Mos of hasbro's stuff is going up....It will go back down during the summer imo...Last year MU was at 8.49 a fig...then went back down to 7.99...

Well, current UK prices have them at £9.99 for the most part; which equates to $15 if my my conversion rates are correct. The ridiculous prices and short supply / retailers dropping the line is ever apparent over here.

Idk about that...When the line started in "08" wally was selling them for 8.49,when G.I. Joe's were 7 dollors....its been almost 4 years since the line has come out...So a price increase was eventualy going to happen..

They were $7 in my area.. $7.50 at TRU, when they started. Maybe it's different depending on the region.

Joes are $9 a pop around here now too. They were $8-$8.50 up until last month.

I doubt it. Why would something spike in price after the holiday season just to lower in price again? These things sold well, and now they cost more.

Well, personally I'm mad cause I've been seeing people with these figures and sightings for a month or so now, its been dry at least that long, this is the 2nd price increase in the same amount of time, and while I had enough at the 1st increase, I'm like a dollar fifty short!!!!!

But they are just comming out, they'll be around everywhere soon. In like the next month or so, lol. And Wal-Mart is a little cheaper than Target with comic packs. Of course, now that I said that I am sure they will increase there too.

The Price Hike is all because all that extra money Hasbro had went into ML. ML comes back so MU has to take a hit. makes sense

I could be wrong, but I think you need a print ad, can't always just say "these are cheaper at so and so".

I've called zellers on my cell and handed it to a clerk only for her to say o they are cheaper over there, and they gave me the difference, if you have the flyer clipping then yeh no issues, but if not tell them it's cheaper and most often unless it's a huge amount different they'll just give u the discount or they may call the store directly. I've done it for videogames.

I don't think that's the case either....Each department is seperate,Sw,Mu,G.I.Joe, Legends...They are a corporation...and every department has to make money...Or that's when lines are cancelled..They don't take from one department to fund another.And ML will make triple or even more money then hasbro has dumped in it..

Toy sales are not as good as they are during summer and the holiday season,that's why the price hike..So quarterly they can show some profit being made...

Well maybe its just were your at..But the price here startet at 8.49.

Then went to 8.99 after x-mas of "08"

Summer of "09" went downt to 7.99

Then back up to 8.49 after x-mas of "09"

Summer 2010 7.99..

You get the point...IDK...It also has to do with how much your stores are ordering...The more they order the less they can charge...This is why LCS charge 13-15 per fig...Cus they are only ordering at the most 2 cases...When walmart is ordering 100's of cases...So it may have to do with the demand in your area...and your stores not ordering enough to give you a decent price...
