The quinjet is starting to grow on me some, but I'll probably still skip it.
I don't know - there are some funky perspective things going on with that picture. Look at Hulk at the end of the runway - that's 1/3 of your runway. The engines look to be the diameter of a figures legs.

Those figures aren't what I mean by better scaled stuff. xD

They just give an idea of size to the carrier. But think of what that size could do with micromachines/hotwheels jets and military vehicles!

No, I agree. I was just pointing out how the sense of perspective was skewed in the photo. The Quinjet looks truly massive - yet we know it will fit on the front of the Helicarrier. The Helicarrier looks long until you notice the figures on the deck and then you realize that its not that long.

3 feet is still pretty long though. I'm not sure any longer would be all that feasible. This thing is as long as fortress maximus is tall just about.

Actually, that'd be a pretty awesome comparison pic if anyone wanted to do one. xD

Ahhh found it

from Marvel Universe Figure Variant Checklist - - MarvelousNews.com
"Makeitreal
half transparent invisible woman is not a variant. it was just a custom job. but thanks for thinking it was real makes it worth the effort"

I think it was Wolverine2281 that I was talking with about that being a custom figure.

I appreciate them having a go at the Helicarrier but whats the point of having a S.H.I.E.L.D helicarrier you cant really use with ya figures?? The SW Millenium Falcon was scaled down, yet still believable,i know a carrier would be tricky to scale down but that thing just looks like a long plastic tray with rotor blades on.

Exactly,The photographer took a perfect shot of it,by shooting down the length of it,you get a near perfect optical illusion of length,as the eyes follow the line of it right through the photo from foreground to background........

Nice job. Looks clean. I plan to do an x-men deadpool but I wanted to do the other version with his name on the back. I just got an extra deadpool from megrimlock(thanks again for the great deal) so I plan to get started on this one next.

I've been on a customizing spree lately. My latest additions.

Added some molding to reed richard. Now he's got the stretchy look. I plan to do one for his tordo and legs too.

Added some accessories to ultron

Saw is from spiderman doc ock

An addition to my spidey villains

That hellicarrier looks great. Indeed the pic is hard to tell but I think its big enough.

btw, anyone remember back in the day when at one point "light Bullseye" was considered the most "expensive" MU retail card?? that feels like soooo long ago. funny how things change.
Yup, sorry. I tend to use 'variant' interchangably with running changes. To me, 'Variant' means different than the most well-known one.

It was $40 and after the seller answered my question jacked it up to $80 or $90 and changed the title and description.still hasn't been able to sell it but drops the price every week or two.
Yea, I probably contributed to the $90 one too, I asked him the same question!

I ended up getting this one in a lot of 17. I've been looking very closely at lots that included a light red DD, specifically for this guy!

In the lot, I got 14 figures I don't need, but hey, at least there were three I did need! A lot of these are 2009 versions too, and in great condition! It was a good deal for sure.

I do that too actually when looking for what I'm missing, sometimes it's a pretty good deal when you break the math down.

Holy $hit. That looks soooo dope. I agree with you 100% and I may have to use the same pattern you did. I got an extra archangel (from fellow arker MeGrimlock) and I wanted to do the more recent depiction of him in uncanny x-force. You've nailed it. Great job!!!!
