Marvel's character properties really vary per character on who benefitted from their setup. I gotta say though, Deadpool is definitely one who benefitted big time!

Although, like Deadpool, she's benefited greatly by having other writers. When I was typing that post, I almost said X-Force instead of Deadpool, but I thought that was giving Liefeld waay too much credit. Not to mention I can't stand Shatterstar.

I think it has a lot to do with which writers Marvel assigns to which books. You can really tell sometimes when a writer is fully behind a character or if he/she loathes the character. Definitely. Some writers also love characters but hate how they've been treated so they completely redo everything about them, history and all. Others never bother to read up on characters they use, and some just do as you said too.

Thanks proteus! And the skeleton in the background is actually a Ceratosaurus from the Skeleflex line and its an awesome figure (I really wish the line had lasted longer)
