Just got sw storm from a trade, she's pretty sweet, but pinning her against Thor in the avx preview pages from age of apocalypse is laughable

Man, they look to be jobbing the Avengers bigtime in the matchups- Iron man Vs. Magneto?!?

I call total bullshit! FIFTY bucks says they forget that (as established in Avengers West Coast) Magneto can NOT affect the Iron Man armor!

Right away they're giving X-men an easy victory- and then they match Hawkeye vs. freakin Cyclops and Juggernaut-colussus vs. the Thing instead of the more fair matchup of Hulk vs Colussus...and Emma Frost vs. Green Hulk- again, playing the X-Man vs. the Avenger's big weakness.
And of course, (bullshit do-anything, any power) Rogue vs. Ms. Marvel, which should consist of Carol flying Rogue into space and watching her die.
There's a Cap vs. Wolverine matchup that we KNOW should end with Cap kicking the crap out of him- just like he did back in Wolverine: Enemy Of The State...but I doubt it'll go down that way, frankly.

And all this nonsense is because Cyclops is suddenly a crazy religous fanatic- only with Hope as Jesus...and he's sure that Hope can contain the Phoenix force to...something...for mutants? The same force that killed Jean and Madelene and almost Rachel is supposedly just perfect for Hope?

Yeah, he's nuts.

Wow so much things are so different now with the comic characters I used to know. I dont read comic books anymore but I'm kinda glad that I dont read em anymore. I just want to remember them the way they were when I used to read comic books. Any new things that I learned is from wiki/marvel webbies or things I hear thru the forums.

i just read the preview book online, i have to wait to read them digitaly since i dont buy comics that much, but it sounds like it wont be all that.. i do wish jean or madelene do return tho, thats just my opinion bro lol.

Hey guys, I've been lurking for a few months now but finally decided to join. Just got into the marvel universe line a couple months ago but couldn't find any good figures in Canadian retail. Just went to wal-Mart last night to pick up some candles and found wave 17 stocked up. The first time in ages that Ive seen some single carded figures, I picked up the entire wave minus Patriot. I am so appreciating these figure right now!

Long time no post!
I am getting closer and closer to getting all caught up. Still need a few giant packs and random single carded figs.
I found a Toy Biz carded Blob and Mojo at the LCS. $11 for the 2 of them. Mojo needs some wrist articulation and his mechanical legs glued to hold him up. The Blob just makes me giggle because he has a Pillsbury dough boy belly. Great additions to the MU collection especially if you don't want to drop the loot on a BAF Mojo and are concerned about shelf space. I will post some pics later.

I have found 5 psylocke for Xmen and xforce and the rest will be custom fodder. Even picked up a few Black Widow for customs. Archangel is pretty much non exsitant here.

I have gotten the main avengers movie cast minus Hulk, BW and HE. Only Avengers fig on the shelf at WM today was Ultimate Hawkeye....weird.

What all is in Avengers wave 3 aside from movie HE, BW, movie villain? Is it revision filler?

Also is anyone casting Norman Osbourne heads?
